I’m not sure that’s were the convo was heading, maybe talking about a thread for all the seeds in the comps to showcase them?

But I also like your idea. I was a bit late to do a Christmas giveaway, but this idea sounds good.
If money was no object, what would be the go to seeds to get nowadays?
Anything by Bullshark genetics on Ebay. 🤣 🤣 🤣

Yeah you're right and most will select a few plants of a strain for breeding, 3-4 mothers / seed bearers for a diverse gene pool.
It's also good to select a few mothers just for backup just in case there's any hermies in the upcoming generations..

A chucker probably wont get past the F1 / S1 / R1 unless they are using somebody else's worked lines for further inbreeding.

Like you said, he lists a boatload of f1 chucks (too many to count). Compare that with the few Aussie breeders here who only have a few strains but have put in the work by atleast back crossing a few times for some stability / uniformity.
Quality over Quantity.
Could you advise me who the Austrilian breeders who have put in the work are. I'd be interested in buying their seeds as I don't like buying from overseas.
Cheers.

From the top of my head Heavy Dayze (who also hosts the Potcast on YouTube), Wally Duck and Bin Chicken who breeds mutant ABC lines.

Shantibaba aka Scott Blakey from Mr Nice Seeds should get a mention too being an Aussie breeder (but operates in Europe), who worked with Nevil Schoenmakers (another Aussie).

You'll probably have to email the first few for a list as they don't have websites as far as im aware.

Happy Friday, treasured readers,

Again, thank you for the polite and hinged emails regarding the Lockheed Martin take-over. It’s not a joke. Running a newspaper, especially one that for some godless reason has garnered a large online readership, is not easy in this economy and the good people at LM are making it possible.

However, due to the hinged emails received over the break, the board has decided to terminate the agreement with Lockheed Martin due to concerns that their products were being used in allegedly nefarious ways. The board was made aware that Lockheed Martin’s high-quality and ethically-sourced weapons were being used to vaporise villagers in the developing world. While The Advocate’s board endorses the use of hi-tech weaponry against heroic freedom fighters and despicable terrorists around the world, we draw the line at people just hanging out at home.

In light of this, The Advocate would like to welcome and congratulate the good people at Bushmaster for coming on board for FYQ3 2025!

While also a weapons manufacturer, Bushmaster is more focused on personal safety and the sporting hunter. They say the best burglar alarm is an Adler shotgun. We here at The Advocate disagree. It’s a Bushmaster, chambered to .223, with a magazine full of bullets that’ve had the tips snipped off. Flick it on automatic and you have a killing machine capable of putting that son of a bitch trying to steal your Blu Ray player in the dead of night through the mincer! Leave him looking like a motorcyclist’s jeans after a heavy spill on the Bruce Highway! So if you’ve been left disappointed by all those cheap 3D printed imitations on Australia’s burgeoning weapons black market, make sure to consider the good people at Bushmaster for your next assault rifle.

In other news, this year is poised to be a better one that the last for this newspaper. One can live in hope anyway. Hope it is for you, too.
Until next week,

Errol Parker.
