On Google Earth there appears to be a gentle slope at best. Here's a pic outside the airport boundaries looking in the direction of the flight path.

And the nearest establishment from this point is 650m off into the distance. To right there fields of crops, and a old age retirement joint.

Bloody odd one.

Ahh right.

That’s odd then.

Not suspicious, just plain fucking stupid design. Job done, no need to investigate further, some fucktard engineer designed that.

Weren't there a few that survived that one ?
Yeah, I think 29 survived, and something like 38 dead. After looking at the flight path of that one. It would've been terrifying for all on-board. It appears the anti-aircraft took out the hydrologics/stabilisers because the flight path showed that it was porpoising before it eventually went down some time later after the strike on it. It looks as if the pilots done an amazing job to keep that one in flight for as long as they did..

My beans from Connoisseur Genetics got stuck in Customs. Haven't moved since Dec 13th. Doh!

I contacted CG and he only honors guaranteed delivery if I can prove they didn't arrive. Wants a confiscation letter. He's concerned about jerks receiving their shipment and pretending they didn't to get a free order. I see where he's talking from, but what are the chances I get a letter or shipment with seeds removed?

I don't think they'll bother sending a letter, years ago I had a small order from Seedcity that never got through, no letter either.. hope you can work something out but to me it looks like he's just going to beat around the bush and keep your money.

Also wouldn't you think he would send tracked mail so he can see if people are 'lying' when they check the tracking number ... Sounds like a bit of a joke

I've also had several O/S orders stall in Customs & had re-sends (some worked, some didn't). 'Never received a "seizure" letter. Guaranteed delivery is GUARANTEED delivery. That's their mantra, so hold them to it.

Applying a bit of logic here: You obviously have tracking information, as you (the recipient) are able to see that the delivery stalled at Customs on 13/12/24. The sender would also have access to the same tracking information. The prima facie facts/evidence are in the tracking information itself.

Asking you to PROVE that the shipment DIDN'T arrive is like asking someone to prove/disprove the existence of some religeous deity.

I suggest you (politely!) push-back on the request for proof of non-delivery & refer to the tracking information provided to you by the vendor (who can probably see more detailed tracking information than you can).

As Goonie said, it seems the vendor just wants to keep you hanging until you give-up in frustration. If there's no joy, insist on a full refund (not a partial one, or "store-credit") & move on to another seller.

Agreed, (well except about being polite!). how fucking stupid of them to ask the buyer to prove the shipment didn’t arrive?

Take a picture of your empty letterbox and send it to them

I've always found that you catch more flies with honey than vinegar.;)

If the first ambit doesn't work, THEN apply the sledgehammer-approach & put the cunts on the back-foot.

EDIT: Added "Cunts" for emphasis.

Go to Trust pilot and put in a bad review ,,
There is only one review of connoisseur genetics there and it isn’t nice , so a one off review might not deter anyone ,,
So another damning review of them may deter those that bother to check the site out,,
Here is the link

And here is the only review there..

There you go @veritas629 , let them know what sort of vendor he is in that thread that Goonie Goat linked ..

That’s the whole point of tracking ,so buyer and vendor can settle any real or bullshit claims of not receiving seeds ,,

No need to leave bad reviews. He can start an investigation from his side. The Royal Mail requires the package be lost for 30 days before starting an investigation. I'm going to hang tight and he said to contact him at the end of the month. This seems reasonable to me.

Some background to add context. I like CG and OJD"s work. I bought some seeds last year and they were my most recent grow log here (Grandoggy Jones). I also posted the log on another popular forum. By running that other log, I earned two packs of seeds from him. You can log and receive free seeds in perpetuity from CG. Amazing deal. This lost package are those 2 packs of free seeds, plus I bought a BOGO. In summary, he was sending me 3 free packs and only one I paid for. He paid shipping too. He's very generous, so I've got no issue playing by his rules. Can you think of another breeder so generous? If yes, please let me know!
