He seems to have nice genes but….
Can’t format a legible stock list
Has TOO many strains on the go to produce fresh beans
And his word is shit
A guarantee is a guarantee
Awaiting clearance is pre customs
Processed for delivery is safely through.
I’d hit him up for trackable resend, with the threat of poor reviews here and elsewhere.
PS another good reason to use PayPal if available, they’ll refund on your word, puts onus on seller. If it does turn up you can refund the refund.

1000% his shit is mostly chucks too, sits around on forums harassing others on the legitimacy of their strains lineage (when not spamming his plant pics like an ad in other growdiaries) instead of making things right by his customers.
Thinks he's Nevil 🤣.

I'm not sure where the line between pollen chucker vs breeder is. But, CG has a huge collection of what I call heritage strains. Super Silver Haze, Grandaddy Purple, Chemdog, Cheese, various Diesel, and many hazes. Most of his crosses are F1, which is neither good nor bad, just a matter of preference. I found his list rather drool-worthy!

He does promote himself hard on that other forum. If you can't promote ya seeds on a weed forum, where should you? Every time he commented in my grow log, he offered relevant advice with no self-promotion. I enjoyed have the breeder of my seeds follow along.

Maybe other people have had bad experiences, but I've had nothing but good experiences so far. Same guy doubled my seed order last time, because the Royal Mail was slow due to a union strike. Free seeds to make me happy over someone else's problem. Pretty hard to knock that service!

Do they really though? No-one lies about genetics more than require a leap faith.

All seeds produced by anyone other than the grower themself requires a gamble. He could be lying, but my personal experience of growing his work suggests otherwise. Example, I've never smoked GDP from Ken, Chemdog from Chemdog himself, nor Casey Jones from whomever is responsible there. But, the Grandoggy Jones I grew from CG is a ripper. Is it actually (GDP x Chemdog) x Casey Jones? We will never know, because I don't have a DNA lab. But, his seeds became great weed in my tent and that's all I've got to work with.

If anyone has had first hand bad experiences with him, I'm all ears. But, I'll be keeping a positive attitude until he gives me a reason to complain. On that other forum, he is pretty polarising and I recognise that probably means something somehow!

When you guys say Comp Seed, do you mean a seed that many TSE members buy and then we all grow together? Show off our results etc. I love that idea and would jump in too...

I’m not sure that’s were the convo was heading, maybe talking about a thread for all the seeds in the comps to showcase them?

But I also like your idea. I was a bit late to do a Christmas giveaway, but this idea sounds good. If money was no object, what would be the go to seeds to get nowadays?

As a chucker, I’d say a breeder runs at least 100s of individuals of a strain to select from?
I agree his selection is nice, and I still might pull the pin on a couple of his strains.
Not my photo, but the owner said this is some Connoisseur genetics (10’ ladder)👍

Yeah you're right and most will select a few plants of a strain for breeding, 3-4 mothers / seed bearers for a diverse gene pool.
It's also good to select a few mothers just for backup just in case there's any hermies in the upcoming generations..

A chucker probably wont get past the F1 / S1 / R1 unless they are using somebody else's worked lines for further inbreeding.

Like you said, he lists a boatload of f1 chucks (too many to count). Compare that with the few Aussie breeders here who only have a few strains but have put in the work by atleast back crossing a few times for some stability / uniformity.
Quality over Quantity.
