Sedges DP X BH super vigorous for 15 days. Pushing out their 5th node already. Purple Trainwreck at 13 days a bit behind.


I remember getting shat on heaps here when I claimed that it's pretty standard to get 6-7 nodes out by day 21. I don't think there's a single plant in my journal that hasn't had 6-7 nodes out by day 21 tbh.

How many nodes would you guys consider normal by day 21 if you don't mind me asking?

Same but I haven't been blessed by the opportunity of an outdoor grow for a few years now. Ill usually wait until the 7th/8th is peeking through and top back to the 6th node . If the bottom is well developed ill top back to the fifth node instead around day 17 usually as I lack space and patience indoors. Just wanting others experiences on seedling growth as I only know my own experience and I'm getting a few people on the boat that you should roughly get a node per week which sounds a bit slow in my eyes. I reckon they could do a bit better with the control of an indoor environment and wanted to get some opinions before I start pushing haha.

I was just reading some old canna books from Cervantes and they were showing plants with three or so nodes for examples of five-week-old plants. How time frames, technology and hybrid vigor has changed the scene over the years is interesting.

I find indoors mine do between 2 to 3 nodes a week depending on strain and vigour. So yeah anywhere from 6 to 9 I would consider normal.
They look to short to top in the pics.
Do you run your lights close and up high?
All your stuff looks super compact. Might be the spectrum of ya Chinga boards. Mine looked like that till I went from 3 to 2 lights for veg. Got bigger plans for less electricity!
