today smoked incredible bulk from @jezza03

rolled a joint a bit bigger than I probably should have. but after an hour nap I was back in planet earth.

Got a new script this week, updating my prescription canister. Process seems cheaper now.
Tried an indica for sleeping, 18% Ice Cream Cake.
Smell, nothing special.
Taste, quite good.
Effect, up for first hour or so, sleep would be easy after that.
Not a waste of money, a professional commercial product.

Ran a few Dutch sourced beans last round, of a few strains I had stored in the fridge. Harvested about 5 weeks ago, and re-sampling them now after a few weeks cure. Ive previously grown all of these strains. Just did the run for nostalgia

Bubba Kush ( pre 98)

Potency wise they were generally on par with each other, and on par with many of the modern strains I've been sampling the last 3 years. Taste and smell is the difference. For my taste, the earthy/pepper/hash taste of the Bubba Kush was the most enjoyable. Once they hit a reasonable thc level, it's all about the smell/taste. And we all have our own preferences on taste/smell.

Some destroyer X from squire. Bloody A1 smoke mate. Citrus and some type of mild menthol or camphor to it somewhere. Has a mild earthy rain and hazey wood/honey like aftertaste despite the sweeter fuit/citrus mains.

Excuse the dusty laptop that it's on. I'm trying to figure out what the citrus notes are. Almost blood orange notes but my nose may as well be four dicks based on how many sinus issues I have.

mate, I love that earthy hash taste. Had some end game (or strawberry og, can't remember) from hudo a while back that was the smoothest hash taste I've had for years. Almost no taste from the plant material. Was like the taste of fresh oil on the tongue and more reminiscent of vaped/decarbed weed instead of combusted. I think my shitty cure times always leave a bit of a plant/floral taste in comparison to some of the stuff I get from seasoned growers on here.

Don't have a camera but NYCD/GDP X GG#5 turned out pretty well given the time of year outdoors here. 4 or so phenos from which I can't decide on which one to keep or chuck. The high can be intense..

My Superchronic seeds( among other strains) were intercepted by my mates at Aus Kustoms. Fuck them thieving flogs. Fortunately I've only ever had 1 parcel intercepted from usa/Canada. I've had too many stolen from Europe, that I can't and wont ever use a European seed source again. Burned too many safe addresses.
