Yeah my father inlaw had 1 astra then was told he had to wait until August or September as there isn’t enough vaccines in the country. His doctor told him the government is basically just lying about how much is in the country. He's 74.
The federal government are a fucking pathetic bunch of useless cunts.

Watched a good piece on media watch on ABC about the bullshit the government is spinning about vaccine numbers and the major media channels just eat up the lies and pass them straight on to us.

I can't get a jab here in NSW until late August despite being almost 60 years of age. Fed Govt has dropped the ball on sourcing enough vaccines needed at a critical time. It takes longer ( and more work involved) to get tested, than it does to get a single shot of vaccine. Instead of wasting time in testing queues, we need an option to go straight to the first jab. I'll gladly take the jab.....if I can get it !!!! My father is in a nursing home with 220 other patients, who weeks ago, have all had their second shot of AstraZeneca, without a single negative side affect- that's sufficient real life evidence for me to join the jab queue.
