Victorian Liberals Admit Running Hando From Footscray Was A Mistake

As the the state of Victoria enters the last days of campaigning ahead of the election, the man hoping to dethrone Premier Dan Andrews is once again in damage control. The Victorian Liberals have admitted today that running controversial alt-right figure, Hando From Footscray, was a mistake.
However, Opposition leader Matthew Guy has said the party stands by Hando’s preselection but if he’s elected on Saturday, he will not be in the party room should the Liberals win power.

The move comes after a controversial documentary about Melbourne, Romper Stomper, was aired on SBS overnight that showed Hando using racist language and committing a litany of criminal offences that would even curl Andrew Bolt’s toes.
Speaking to the media in Melbourne this morning, Mr Guy said ultimate responsibility for this oversight lies with him as party leader.
“Having reviewed the footage of Hando booting people and using disgraceful, racist language, I can assure the people of Melbourne that should we win power and Hando be elected, he won’t be in the party room,” he said.

“It’s just too late to find another quality candidate to run for the Liberals in Northcote, which is one electorate we had our eyes on at this election. Honestly, it’s language that most teals use when they’ve had a few wines at a dinner party. When you put it like that, it doesn’t sound as bad,”
“But yes, that footage of him, uh, you know. Putting his hands on people. It’s not a good look. It was a mistake to have him run in the first place.”

More to come.

This is why weed won't be legalised for the home growers anytime soon, look at how medical cannabis is lining the pockets of private corporations and investors like Gina Swinehart. They can't have the small guys getting their fingers into the pie or else they'll lose 💰

Some pretty funny reading here - including this pearler at the end - quote:

He said the seizure was expected to affect domestic supply. "We'll expect an impact on the price," he said.

Hahahaha - if this was true it would be a first. Anyway, these jobs used to be quite fascinating for me back in the day.

also this bit ....... a bit of bad luck or they were fuckwits - possibly both, but for sure the latter - although I reckon they were fucked anyway as the ABF/AFP were onto it so regardless of how many boats and boats breaking down, they get done anyways. Just would have been a slightly different story.

Police say alleged syndicate made two attempts

Commander Jay says the syndicate had previously attempted to use another vessel which also broke down.

"They spent late last week $150,000 to purchase a new vessel, so it demonstrates the access to cash," he says.
He says police will allege the syndicate made two attempts with two boats, which both broke down.
He says he believes the men on board were stranded for a few hours before police arrived.
He says the alleged mother vessel was in international waters.

Better article here - more details .....

#The baby ship met the mother ship about 460kms offshore.# Fark !!! That's one he'll of a serious operation. Easy multi million $ plus costs to run a mother ship anywhere. I agree Bob, they have definitely done this before. Even running the baby ship 460kms out to sea and back, would cost tens of thousands $. Takes some serious seafaring skills to do a trip like that.
In hindsight, looks like they needed another smaller vessel to help transport the cargo from the baby ship, to shore. Piss poor planning, really. Maybe just got too complacent.

GENERAL NEWS

Alan Jones joins Trump cabinet as Press Secretary

Shocking news as race riot enthusiast Alan Jones has been announced as the latest appointee to the US cabinet under Donald Trump.

This comes shortly after the disgraced teacher, turned disgraced rugby coach, turned disgrace radio host, turned disgraced tv host, turned disgraced Youtube vlogger was arrested over multiple allegations of indecent assault.

“We are excited to see what he can do for this nation,” said Trump, “at first there was the racism, conspiracy theories and violent misogyny, but he really clinched the deal with this arrest. Now he will fit right in. If anything he is over-qualified.”

“Plus, we hope that Jones will help us strengthen our diplomatic ties to Australia, considering how much the Aussie media and their politicians have kissed his ass over the years.”

Reportedly Jones will take on a role as Press Secretary, where he is predicted to work closely with future AG Matt Gaetz as they both bond over their passion for writing ‘love letters’ to school students.

Party That Was Unable to Build Commuter Car Park Unveils Plans to Build 7 Nuclear Reactors

1733277300926.png

A political party that was so chaotically inept that it could not manage to build a few dodgily-funded car parks next to a suburban train station, has unveiled plans to replace Australia’s entire energy grid with nuclear reactors.

“While it is true that we were unable to project manage the construction of a two-level concrete building in Kooyong, we are confident that we’ll have no issues overseeing the assembly of nuclear fission reactors across the country,” Liberal Party leader Peter Dutton said today.

He said that when it came to rolling out large-scale national projects, his party has what it takes. “Yes sure, we did inexplicably bungle a vaccination roll-out during a global pandemic. And yes, we did manage to somehow significantly reduce the quality of the National Broadband Network while at the same time making it more expensive and longer to roll-out. But I think you’ll find that when it comes to putting into action high-tech enriched uranium reactors and then safely storing the waste, we’re the guys for the job”.

Asked if the nuclear reactors would follow the proposed car-park rollout and be placed in Liberal-held seats, Dutton said, “Definitely fucking not”.
