that seriously upsets you ? you must have a bloody good life.
Do yourself a favour and read the Koran,,itā€™s simple to read unlike the bible..I read it not long after 9/11 to get a gist of what drives them.
After about fifty pages I decided to highlight all the times it mentions us ,or Christianā€™s. I also highlighted the parts I thought to be bloodthirsty. Not withstanding some of the first testament is pretty bloodthirsty too..but much of the Koran tells Muslims to not respect us.( and that is putting it lightly)
By the end of the book ,there were a lot of sections that I had marked,,,

Too many people behave politically correct nowadays and stick up for the Muslim religion ,but I believe itā€™s coz of ignorance, or having a live and let live philosophy,,but why ?,,,when they are led to believe the opposite.

Sure ,,many of them obey our laws and donā€™t seek to harm us ,,but them being here means the radicals among them are here too.

So far weā€™ve been lucky that the Lindt cafe was a one off situation, but you can be sure that in time there will be more episodes like that,,,
They will enter politics and eventually demand sharia laws here ,,just as they have done in Europe. Further degrading the Australian way of life ,,

Have I already said Iā€™m Islamophobic ?
Yes.
And proud of it.šŸ˜‚

i find religion fascinating.
i did read the bible. if the koran js half as violent and disturbing as the old testament ( or revelations for that matter ! then iā€™ll be in for a real ā€œtreatā€.

The problem is with the jihad maniacs that glamorise the violence and make all the 15-17 yr olds believe that they can play a part in delivering vengeance and martyrdom and re-directing the words in koran 2 suit there own purposes. These young guys are lucky if they had dick slurped on by a camel and heres these ' older and wiser' guys promising naked virgins and as much bud as they can handle
I'd probs give it a go meself if i was 40 yrs younger
The thing is these young fellahs have had a shitty life and entering the kingdom of Allah with high heels and AK 47s blazing sounds like a good deal. They don't care about the Koran and its proper meanings, hell half the Taliban live off opium dealing which is completely a no-go 4 muslims

Now what was the question, me opium pipe just blocked up

Such a new fad these religions.
Give me some serious old school Dreamtime.
A church founded by Tim Leary and Hunter S. could work for me.

Yeah, I agree. I remember years ago I was filling in a job application and to the question of religion I answered "animist hedonist".

I didn't get the job.

Intersting that you can still tag Porky....

As for the other shite, check the title of the thread, no rules in here ;)

Should have dropped a steamer on the floor of the prayer room.....
Seems I gave the mods a "get out of jail free card" with this thread title then, from doing their job, if that's the case. To think you had your doubts about the thread when hit started too. LOL. Look Billy, if you want me to mod the thread, you just need to ask nicely. šŸ˜Ž

this time each year i panic as my son has his birthday party and kids parents descend on our home.

this year was worse as we moved into a new place and the yard is really quite spectacular. i was expecting strange mothers and fathers wanting a tour.

i put up bamboo screens and shade cloth and locked gates and put stuff in the way.

all for nothing. they came and went and didnā€™t wander.

phew.

The Coalition's statement may say nuclear power, but its real purpose is to frighten off investment from the Coalition's paymasters competition.

Coalition wants a ā€˜closed shopā€™ for power and perversely will use taxpayer dollars to achieve it.

Not only has the Coalition resisted a coherent power and environment policy while its been in power, its white anting Laborā€™s ambition to have one.

Dutton is a liar and an idiot. Put. Them. Last.
