Do yourself a favour and read the Koran,,it’s simple to read unlike the bible..I read it not long after 9/11 to get a gist of what drives them.
After about fifty pages I decided to highlight all the times it mentions us ,or Christian’s. I also highlighted the parts I thought to be bloodthirsty. Not withstanding some of the first testament is pretty bloodthirsty too..but much of the Koran tells Muslims to not respect us.( and that is putting it lightly)
By the end of the book ,there were a lot of sections that I had marked,,,

Too many people behave politically correct nowadays and stick up for the Muslim religion ,but I believe it’s coz of ignorance, or having a live and let live philosophy,,but why ?,,,when they are led to believe the opposite.

Sure ,,many of them obey our laws and don’t seek to harm us ,,but them being here means the radicals among them are here too.

So far we’ve been lucky that the Lindt cafe was a one off situation, but you can be sure that in time there will be more episodes like that,,,
They will enter politics and eventually demand sharia laws here ,,just as they have done in Europe. Further degrading the Australian way of life ,,

actually i plan on reading it sometime.
i find religion fascinating.
i did read the bible. if the koran js half as violent and disturbing as the old testament ( or revelations for that matter ! then i’ll be in for a real “treat”.

this time each year i panic as my son has his birthday party and kids parents descend on our home.

this year was worse as we moved into a new place and the yard is really quite spectacular. i was expecting strange mothers and fathers wanting a tour.

i put up bamboo screens and shade cloth and locked gates and put stuff in the way.

all for nothing. they came and went and didn’t wander.

phew.
