Was doing a spot of burning off last night and i captured this cloud formation passing in front of the Southern Cross. And i reckoned it looked like a fish, with the two stars below the Southern Cross representing the fish's eyes. Misses reckons i was trippin', because all she made of it was a pair of lips.

Dunno, might have to give the gunja a break for a bit..

A few recent snapper. 24kms offshore and first bite hits at 5.15pm as were about to head home. We stayed a bit longer to catch these fish, as we were having a very slow day up until then. All keepers between 40 to 55cms, and returned ( alive) another 3 fish under 40cms . Then motored home slowly in darkness hoping to avoid hitting one of the migrating whales, which are prevalent off our coastline at this time of year. IMG_20240816_202305.jpg
