Was Thinking last 6 to 4 of the 12 hour cycle, to mimic arvo sunIf your running a 4×4 you might aswell turn the 600 off. The 4 led should be heaps. Running the extra 600 is probably burning power for no extra gain unless you've got co2. I've run 20 in my 4×8 I just don't veg past 3 weeks. It will shave weeks off if prepared to grow more plants.
Those led have a wider spectrum and all the red etc you will need. I expect with 4 led and 600 hps the light will be way to intense and bleech the topsWas Thinking last 6 to 4 of the 12 hour cycle, to mimic arvo sun
Would I be better dumping the HPS and replace middle with another LED the same? I have a spare one..Those led have a wider spectrum and all the red etc you will need. I expect with 4 led and 600 hps the light will be way to intense and bleech the tops

It should be fine for now, that article seems like ai generated garbage so its hard to follow. Is this information correct? Stumbled across it..
The Best Lighting Strategy: Mix HPS with LED Together - FLEXSTAR
One of the most compelling reasons to mix HPS with LED lights is the complementary spectrum coverage. HPS lights excel in the red and far red spectrum, makingwww.flex-star.com
So my combo will be ok?
This was before I seen what LED'S you were talking about. I retract my last comments and say go with just the HPS100% mate

Later down the track I would definitely upgrade though, those 60w led's you have wont have much penetration through the canopy, you'll have to hang them lower than your HPS which will just block the light coming from the HPS, not ideal.
Id probably just ditch the leds come flower to be honest and use the HPS separately for flower.
As mentioned here earlier, you might be lucky to get 0.6-0.7 grams per watt with HPS depending on strain and plant training. A good mid range LED fixture will double that amount, while probably using less power too. 1.2g-1.4g per watt with a good strain and some half assed training methods.
