Didn't watch in it's entirety, But yeah, the repercussions go far and wide.

In the short term. Probably wont be a better time for rest of us outside of the US to build a new PC before these tariffs take effect, and companies restructure themselves to suit.

This shit that Trump is pulling goes to show that old heads/idiots shouldn't be able to hold such positions. They can't relate/keep up with how fast technologies and industries are progressing. Basically we need world leaders who can keep up.

What Trump is trying to pull with tariffs is something he could've used to steer the ship back in the 60s-70s, when most of the manufacturing and sourcing of products could be done in the one country. But manufacturing of products does require sourcing of parts from all corners of the World now. And for Trump to get to where he probably wants to be, is nothing more than a pipe dream that is unachievable in the modern world.

In short. IMO, once you hit retirement age, you should be hooked from any parliamentary position. And because of Trump, they should introduce a IQ test that can't be fudged. How both Biden and Trump got there is incomprehensible.

I run off old intel chips and second hand amd Nvidia boards and I can build a rig for under 600 that'll run AAA games fuck an i7-4770k ya can pick up for what 30 bucks pair that with some ddr3 also cheap as chips cheap SSD an AMD rx 580 8gb there's a rig that'll run most things and u can get those parts well under what these companies will gouge ya for their latest and greatest..

The thing that sucks with my gaming requirements. I'm into race-sim's, currently using VR. But i have been thinking of going triple's (monitors), and it's looking as if i need a 16gb card for that setup.

Got a 5700x3d, 32gb of ram and a 6800 16gb and im still playing fallout 1/2, modding Skyrim and playing old far cry games.

Don't know if Im just chasing a simpler time, or if new games just suck ass. I'll play assetto Corsa and project cars 2 here and there but most new games just seem to lack..

if ya mobo supports it ya could run dual GPU's and set it up to have specific monitors use specific GPU could be a cheaper alternative

yeah thought about building another rig but the old horse still runs BG3 on ultra got me elitebook HP that I use way more then the RIG the kids use it more then me now I mainly just administer IT support on my own RIGs haha

Yeah its a big waste of power too, i was just running games on 1080p for a bit.
I did get a viewsonic 2k ips monitor when i first built it and the fucking thing had like 5 dead pixels which drove me insane lol.

Luckily i was able to send it back.
Next monitor will probably be an AOC since they have a perfect pixel guarantee.

Might go 4k but i noticed IPS fucks with me eyes compared to me old TN
