Yes, they are in place But are the laws, policies and procedures that are fair and looking after people (hence why international human rights etc, freedom of speech, equal opportunity, fair wages for work etc)?
If they are not then fight those things so they become law.
Also, we all need to think about our own involvement.
Such as, how we vote, who for, the policies to be implemented, also where we just too not up to the task to fight back, keeping silent etc...we all have part to play imo on what we are currently facing.
