Personally, I think you are all being played when it comes to Victoria.

The Morrison govt fukced up royally with the Ruby Princess and supported a Fed Agent ,who gave permission for the cruise liner to dock in Sydney, when she refused to testify about her role during the frickin' inquest. Refused point blank. They clearly covered it up, arguing that Fed employees are basically above summonses from courts and can ignore them ( when it suits the Morrison govt), when we all know this is where the shit hit the fan, right in the beginning. A coverup that the controlled media are ignoring, instead deflecting to ......yup, Victoria and Andrews.

Now, since Aus received the email/ directive from the yanks, we now hate China and Morrison, again, is fucking up our economy and millions of lives, just to appease America. We really are their lackeys imo.

Remember not too long ago we were cool selling Darin Port to China for $600 million? We were besties...

Now, as they become the next Superpower whilst our supposed ally America sinks into the ocean, we have pinned our flag to the dying American flag, when the majority of our trade is with China , not the US.

Anyone with half a brain can see we are purposely pissing off China...the country who buys the most shit from us, hands down. At this countries expense. Smart eh?

Now, heres the rub the media aint touching on.

Andrews, in the interests of the victorian economy, signed up for the Belt and Road initiative( see below...basically a new Silk Road between Asia and Europe), being ran by China. Since we now hate China out of nowhere, all of a sudden, its Comrade Andrews. Its Andrews fucked up the Oz economy, its Andrews has to go...

Andrews is being targeted. Morrison wants him gone, presumably because the US said so...and you are all paying the price, so you will hate him too, methinks.

As a tangent to this, the *cough* " protests" in Belarus are also linked to the Belt and Road Initiative, as America tries to spoil China's coming out party, just as it did in Hong Kong.

is because they are dirty little disease carrying cnuts who like to Eat Anything they can find
And anybody who questions their methods is either Attacked both verbally and Physically

VB....You clearly haven't got a clue, mate.

Name calling aside, you've said nothing in your rant above...

How are China the enemy of people and freedom everywhere, LOL ?

Do you say this based on all the countries China has invaded since WW11 or the millions of civilians killed? Oh wait , thats the US, sorry.... our bestie

And HGO, there's not a crumb of evidence this virus began in China. Unless you can show me it, I'd say you are parroting what your TV has told you, minus any research.

A 30 day TV Free diet will cure you, mate.

Meanwhile, Reuters reported Spanish virologists have found traces of the novel coronavirus in a sample of Barcelona waste water collected in March 2019, nine months before the COVID-19 disease was identified in China.

How do you explain that awkward fact ?

When Wuhan first made the news cos of the C19 I pictured a dreadful cesspit, a hovel of a joint...

Heres Wuhan. Where all the little disease carrying cnuts who like to eat anything they can find, live....compare the city to where you live and ask yourself, would an Enemy of the People Everywhere build a city that looks like something from Blade runner?

And how maybe, just maybe, hundreds of millions of Chinese, uplifted from poverty in the last 50 years, would disagree with you?

Foothold in OUR country?? Have you ever flown into Darwin and seen the lines of US military planes and choppers parked on the runways??

Or is it just the Chinese you are worried about, with the Americans all good with their genuine foothold in OUR country, which, should the US and China kick off, will result in Australia being targeted by china??

No. You got it wrong. China isn't fukcing with us, we are doing as told and WE are fukcing with them.

Did either of you give this any thought??

Main article: History of the People's Republic of China (1949–1976)
See also: Mass killings of landlords under Mao Zedong and List of massacres in China

A large portrait of Mao Zedong at Tiananmen
The Chinese Communist Party came to power in China in 1949 after a long and bloody civil war between communists and nationalists. There is a general consensus among historians that after Mao Zedong seized power, his policies and political purges directly or indirectly caused the deaths of tens of millions of people.[154][155][156] Based on the Soviets' experience, Mao considered violence to be necessary in order to achieve an ideal society that would be derived from Marxism and as a result he planned and executed violence on a grand scale.[157][158]

Campaign to Suppress Counterrevolutionaries
Main article: Campaign to Suppress Counterrevolutionaries
The first large-scale killings under Mao took place during his land reform and the counterrevolutionary campaign. In official study materials that were published in 1948, Mao envisaged that "one-tenth of the peasants" (or about 50,000,000) "would have to be destroyed" to facilitate agrarian reform.[159] The exact number of people who were killed during Mao's land reform is believed to have been lower, but at least one million people were killed.[157][160] The suppression of counterrevolutionaries targeted mainly former Kuomintang officials and intellectuals who were suspected of disloyalty.[161] At least 712,000 people were executed and 1,290,000 were imprisoned in labor camps.[162]

Great Leap Forward and the Great Chinese Famine
Main articles: Great Leap Forward and Great Chinese Famine
Benjamin Valentino claims that the Great Leap Forward was a cause of the Great Chinese Famine and the worst effects of the famine were steered towards the regime's enemies.[163] Those who were labeled "black elements" (religious leaders, rightists and rich peasants) in earlier campaigns died in the greatest numbers because they were given the lowest priority in the allocation of food.[163] In Mao's Great Famine, historian Frank Dikötter writes that "coercion, terror, and systematic violence were the very foundation of the Great Leap Forward" and it "motivated one of the most deadly mass killings of human history".[164] Dikötter estimates that at least 2.5 million people were summarily killed or tortured to death during this period.[165] His research in local and provincial Chinese archives indicates the death toll was at least 45 million: "In most cases the party knew very well that it was starving its own people to death".[166] In a secret meeting at Shanghai in 1959, Mao issued the order to procure one third of all grain from the countryside, saying: "When there is not enough to eat people starve to death. It is better to let half of the people die so that the other half can eat their fill".[166] In light of additional evidence of Mao's culpability, Rummel added those killed by the Great Famine to his total for Mao's democide for a total of 77 million killed.[32][ba]

Cultural Revolution
Main article: Cultural Revolution
Sinologists Roderick MacFarquhar and Michael Schoenhals estimate that between 750,000 and 1.5 million people were killed in the violence of the Cultural Revolution in rural China alone.[167] Mao's Red Guards were given carte blanche to abuse and kill people who were perceived to be enemies of the revolution.[168] For example, in August 1966, over 100 teachers were murdered by their students in western Beijing.[169]

Tibet
Main article: History of Tibet (1950–present)
According to Jean-Louis Margolin in The Black Book of Communism, the Chinese communists carried out a cultural genocide against the Tibetans. Margolin states that the killings were proportionally larger in Tibet than they were in China proper and "one can legitimately speak of genocidal massacres because of the numbers that were involved".[170] According to the Dalai Lama and the Central Tibetan Administration, "Tibetans were not only shot, but they were also beaten to death, crucified, burned alive, drowned, mutilated, starved, strangled, hanged, boiled alive, buried alive, drawn and quartered, and beheaded".[170] Adam Jones, a scholar who specializes in genocide, notes that after the 1959 Tibetan uprising the Chinese authorized struggle sessions against reactionaries, during which "communist cadres denounced, tortured, and frequently executed enemies of the people". These sessions resulted in 92,000 deaths out of a total population of about 6 million. These deaths, Jones stressed, may not only be seen as a genocide, but they may also be seen as an "eliticide", meaning "targeting the better educated and leadership oriented elements among the Tibetan population".[171] Patrick French, the former director of the Free Tibet Campaign in London, writes that the Free Tibet Campaign and other groups have claimed that a total of 1.2 million Tibetans were killed by the Chinese since 1950 but after examining archives in Dharamsala, he found "no evidence to support that figure".[172] French states that a reliable alternative number is unlikely to be known, but he estimates that as many as half a million Tibetans died "as a 'direct result' of the policies of the People's Republic of China" by using historian Warren Smith's estimate of 200,000 people who are missing from population statistics in the Tibet Autonomous Region and extending that rate to the borderland regions.[173]

Tiananmen Square
Main article: 1989 Tiananmen Square protests
Jean-Louis Margolin states that, under Deng Xiaoping, at least 1,000 people were killed in Beijing and hundreds more were executed in the countryside after his government crushed demonstrations in Tiananmen Square in 1989.[174] According to Louisa Lim in 2014, a group of victims' relatives in China called the "Tiananmen Mothers" has confirmed the identities of more than 200 of those who were killed.[175] Alex Bellamy writes that this "tragedy marks the last time in which an episode of mass killing in East Asia was terminated by the perpetrators themselves, judging that they had succeeded."[176]

Makes a lotta sense, bro....piss China, our biggest trading partner, right the fukc off and see how that ends up.

If you cant see how having good relationships with China will benefit us, whilst having bad relations with 'em is to our detriment, I'm afraid I cant help you.

giphy.gif

Id prefer it if we were independent from America, able to do what was in Australia's best interests, not Americas' first, then ours...

VB...cool stories 'bout China you cherrypicked there. Wanna read some shit about the US and their torture techniques used on civilians?

Are you old enough to remember the only country NOT to go into recession when the GFC hit was Oz, solely on the back of China?

And how we loved 'em back then as we all benefitted from a booming economy and strong AU dollar?

What changed, buddy when we had that open friendship you mentioned until a few months ago?

What made you hate them so much? Racism? Or doing what yourTV told you to do?

Did you have as much hatred for China then, or are you being played, like I said in my first sentence?
