Hey my green loving friends, seeing as this thread seems to have been of a passionate political nature lately I was interested in where everyone gets their news or interpretation of facts or opinions from?

I don't listen to an enormous amount of legacy media and whilst I trust some outlets for general reporting I choose to listen to people who seem genuine, are entertaining and independent. Also willing to call people out or Q things no matter who or what side of the fence they sit.

Pissed Off Bartender, Trae Crowder (Liberal Redneck), Supertanskiii, Johnathon Pie, Secular Talk and Hawkes Podcast all get my attention for international commentary.

Punters Politics and The West Report for Australian stuff.

And the great man Terence McKenna who in 1998 predicted that things would get incredibly rocky globally because the systems in place are inadequate. He thought there would be a dangerous rise in fascism, climate catastrophes and pandemics within 30 years. Not at all depressing hahaha.

Time to roll one me thinks and get back to trimming.

I’m too cynical to really believe very much.
And while i see the entertainment value, i have found consuming less news is great for my mental health.
so usually its by accident.
i sometimes watch abc or SBS news.
very occasionally watch sky or fox for a laugh. but mostly it makes me annoyed.
I have a degree in media studies which led to my cynicism.

Both his tariff and Ukraine *DISapproval* ratings now hover around 70%. Most Americans hate what he's doing with both tariffs and Ukraine.

Were just watching the Executive Branch implode now. Senator Schiff is already drafting Impeachment articles against all 17 of the Execs for insider trading. The articles will be tabled soon after Nov 2026 mid terms.

Its all downhill now for Trump. He will lose
( by a very wide margin) both Houses at mid terms in Nov 2026. Lone lame duck President will be crucified by Democrats for his last 2 years of office. Assuming he hangs around. His ego may see him hand over the poison chalice to Vance.
