Fair point—no one’s expecting billionaires to swoop in like knights in shining armor and fix everyone’s problems. Even if they’re taxed at the same rate as the rest of us and loopholes get closed, how much of that actually trickles down to help everyday people? It’s a nice idea, but the government doesn’t exactly have the best track record of using extra revenue to make life noticeably better for the average person.

Yeah, hiding billions offshore and dodging taxes through shady setups isn’t right, and that should be addressed. But let’s not pretend that fixing the tax system is going to magically solve inequality or make things easier for most of us. The system itself is built to favor those who already have wealth—it’s not just about taxes; it’s about power, connections, and influence.
At the end of the day, I’m all for fairness, but I’d rather see focus on actual reforms that help people—better housing policies, healthcare, education—rather than just assuming taxing billionaires more is a silver bullet.

classic 'money, power, and bending the knee' debate. Honestly, whether it’s Elon, Joe, or anyone else, it’s probably less about 'seeing the light' and more about reading the room—and by 'room,' I mean whatever serves their wallets and influence. They’re not bending the knee—they’re just shifting pieces on the board to keep winning the game.

As for the anagram, ‘Lone Skum’ is a good laugh, but isn’t it ironic how the guy everyone loves to hate also happens to stay three steps ahead of the crowd? Say what you will about him, but he knows how to keep us talking—and that’s his real superpower.

Do you not watch politicians continually saying we don't have the money to pay teachers more, nurses, paramedics or build better hospitals, schools, roads or any infrastructure.
There is literally 10s of billions of dollars being stolen from the Australian people by these billionaires.
Really it's the fault of these politicians who are to weak to reform the tax system.

People like you who just simply accept the fact you a considered nothing more that a tool by the elite to be used as they see fit are the reason a broken system will not be changed.
The "game" as you put it is rigged and not for people like you sooking about house prices, groceries or fuel.
But you just weakly accept it and struggle on complaining where if people opened their eyes to the corruption of the system it could be changed.

Im confused, you said they are stealing billions of dollars from Australian people and now youre talking about tax, then you link the IRS not the ATO. The only the your claim is true, is if you believe that all personal property belongs to the government.

Not paying tax is considered a crime! Sorry I should of said commiting tax crimes against the Australian public but stealing was shorter.
Ok if sell some stuff in your little shop and don't pay tax on your profits the ATO considers that a tax evasion and that is a crime.

Now if you had enough money you could hire experts to use the "broken" system to your advantage and hide those profits and not pay tax while still enjoying all the benefits of other tax payer's like roads, schools, healthcare and all the others while not contributing.
This is exactly what the elite have the power to do while you me and everyone else can not.
That is inequality.
You and some others may be fine with this system but me and lots of others are not.

Guy had plenty of practice in the pubs before the ring I think. I don't follow the UFC either, atleast not for a long time. Roy Nelson was always good to watch and could take a beating by all them horse eating steroid munchers. Humble as too..
