MAC x Crescendo first test grow. Plant 1 of 2. Day 24 flowering. 20240921_134448.jpg Both plants have the taller MAC frame. But this pheno is Crescendo leaning. I reversed a MAC and selected a red/purple stemmed Crescendo pheno from a pack of 10 reg seeds, to mate. Purple leaf stem is evident in the photo below. 20240921_134524.jpg Familiar Crescendo smell on stem rub. I might have offered some of these seeds to @Porky. But looks like hes done himself a bit of a mischief and got himself permanently banned. Ohh well, too bad, so sad. He'll have to smoke the icmag seeds 🤣🤣🤣

This report from Sept 2023 discusses the use of a commercial ethylene inhibitor. ( ALESCO) versus STS. The study found Alesco to provide a higher quality pollen count than STS. STS.https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC10574327/
Dunno why the link didn't work. But if you cut and paste into browser, you can view the report

Thanks @SAW . A usa company sells the stuff under brand name of Chrysal Alesco. ( US$136). I haven't found any for sale within Australia. Adverised application rate is 1ml per 1 litre, and the bottle size is 200ml. Literature suggests Alesco has a very long shelf life( unlike STS) and doesn't need to be freshly mixed prior to application. Theoretically a bottle of this stuff could last a backyard grower for a lifetime. It doesn't need additional care/refrigeration in storage, no mixing required, very long shelf life and * reported* higher efficacy rating than STS. Edit: there may be florist's in Aus that currently use this stuff, as it's specifically marketed to keep flowers fresher for longer during transportation.

Some @Old fox Planet of the Grapes. First photo is HPS / soil grown from clone. Second and 3rd are original seeds grown in Coco autopots under LED. I like these genetics.
