Anyone had any problems with seeds from yantra ? Put 10 seeds down & not 1 sprouted ? Recon it could be a bad batch ? Never had a problem before using the damp paper towel method

Had 100% germ rate with his MM.
At the time he only had about 3-4 strains to choose from so I ordered the mm and a pack of 'Lemonchello Haze' (SSH×Amnesia×Cheese).

The Lemonchello looked pretty immature with barely any colour but they look like they'll pop. I haven't bought anything from there since and more than likely won't anytime soon. Guess the seeds are underdone and probably old / stored in bad conditions.

Well shit. I was just about to order from them, last iteration they had some fantastic genetics.

Was after autos this time, trying a Vivosun VGrow tent for my medication as sick of getting jerked around with medical thats always too dry and a real harsh smoke. Nothing like home-grown.

Yeah I agree.
I’ve had some successes over the years but too pricey.
MNS is better value, even with their expensive postage and the exchange rate, still comes in a <$6/seed.
I see they have Barney’s in currently, but still a yeah nah.

Pre covid it was a decent seed bank. With a good selection of breeders. Then they closed for a year or so during covid and came back with sus looking seedsman packs that resemble that other aussie seed bank was selling ( cant remember the name)that porky used to think was pugs running it. So I'm suspecting fake seedsman seeds

Australis-one was that other seedbank I think, they did post a picture of a stack of Seedsman packs but yantra's come in some weird foil bags.

Out of interest checked them out again and they have 'Mama Thai' regs again from Seedsman for $32 for 10 seeds.

Searched it up on Seedsman's site and everybody complained they couldn't get any seeds to germinate.

So I'm guessing the seeds are well and truly fried even before they get to Yantra, that's if they are even real Seedsman seeds

My Seedsman seeds were in genuine packets and flower was good.
I agree reckon their storage is lax.
Avoid their own crosses in foil packets.
I had Mama Thai from them pre Covid and nope again, was pure indica lol.
Too many better options out their IMHO.

Yep that's the one. Porky was adamant it was another former members chucks
Remember DC Seeds? 🤣.. I still have the fridge magnet they sent out with seeds..

They were someones chucks from here weren't they? Pedro was it?
Maybe Porky was right, australis could have been the same guy.

Never buying seeds locally again after hearing they went after customers at madcanna. I've bought a fair bit from local banks over the years.. better off ordering overseas

It's a foolish risk to take because of reasons like that. All it takes is one vendor getting caught and thousands could go down thereafter.
Personally I think the best way to get seed locally is to order in a strain from overseas lots of people want and make F2s. I've seen plenty do just that and end up with a lifetime supply of seeds to play with from trades and if you order in a few legendary tier strains and document the grows so people know the genetics are legit the sky's the limit since you'll have people frothing, they too likely have too many seeds than they could ever hope to sprout and no one wants to see potential greatness go to waste.
It's also good karma to add to the Aussie gene pool and share your seed around.
