Thanks Itchy, I imagine you make your own tincture or tea. Do you recommend to cut it up and steep, mortar and pestle or blender? I have plenty growing at home, many of these things are where fresh is best. Lots of chemicals and hormones can break down pretty quickly.

i use a blender , i measure out some plain water to put in the blender to help with blending the aloe
i aim for about 15mil of aloe leaf per liter of water i use for soil drench

if i'm going to foliar spray i use the freeze dried whole leaf powder from aloe vera australia , doesn.t clog up the sprayer & in most cases i'm using the saponins in aloe to emulsify an oil like neem / thyme / rosemary , i usually add potassium silicate as well to the spray which also helps with emulsifying oils

to be honest i use the powder to soil drench as well when i get lazy 🤷‍♂️ , fresh is better but the powder isn't to bad
