10 weeks flowering and i still see clear, milky and amber.

Looking good Harry. How are the plants looking? I generally don't wait for much amber, instead harvesting when almost all trichs are cloudy as long as the plant is telling me they're pretty much done too. Rare to have 100% uniform trich development in my experience. I also don't wait for degradation to begin while the bud is still on the plant as I want to control the conditions for that process.

Like Rachel says, no one determinant. Trichomes, vigour, weather, events. I like milky, just after the peak of blossom if possible.
Short flower is trickier due to speed of flowering, slow long flower are nice and forgiving.
After decades of growing a few, I still go through a period of uncertainty as the first flowers finish

yeah i’m leaving another week or two
but will keep an eye out. as you say weather might change my mind. regardless they made it to finish line really. could come up now if need be.
