the problem could be elsewhere if you or him want to be accurate about your criticism , based on that report from Crikey at least

I believe that for the good of the entire planet, that there should be world-wide education & unfettered (FREE) access to contraception & abortion, irrespective of Religious ideologies on "Pro-Life", which was promulgated by the Roman Catholic church. Particularly in 3rd-World countries & continents. We have limited resources & a burgeoning human population will consume those resources far more rapidly as the world's population grows.

I know that China tried the "one-child" policy, but that resulted in many female babies "dying", as the couples wanted males to work for money for the family.

If you want a Sci-Fi version of a dystopian future, read/watch "Logan's Run", which had humans being compulsorily "euthanaised" at the age of 30 for the good of the planet.

I've ranted enough & will now step-down from my soap box.

A Conference usually means to "Confer", which is a sharing of information & opinions in order to reach the best conclusion/course of action on a matter.

not having kids means your population ages & an aging population crates a whole bunch of problems , China's population is aging faster than most other countries in modern history
