Your max a few c below my minimum and here's me complaining aye. I'd run a heater, but the others are super greedy and all running heaters for weeks now and I feel for the landlords bills lol. Our power keeps tripping all the time as it is due to a bunch of rooms sharing the same circuit. Drives me mad. The joys of having 8 ppl in a 7 bed house.
unrelated questions mate. if you are renting, how do you deal with occasional inspection? I been meaning to find a new place.

Landlord knows what's up. Private rental. It's rented out to uni students and I kinda Act as the property manager/householder there.

Moved in, grew for about a year and the landlord sprung me watering one day as he just comes and goes to fix shit in me room with no real notice. Just pops in for a chat a lot to to liaise about household runnings and what not. Was surprised as he comes in me room a lot and never noticed haha. He Figured if he could go a year without noticing the increase in electricity or the smell it's not an issue.

We get others that gets kicked out within a few weeks for smoking and drinking alone and leaving utensils everywhere so it's just a case of "be on time with rent, let no one know what you are doing" and it just glides under the radar.

I don't really smoke at home tbh and if I partake it's usually gummies so it can slide under the radar.

@Yuser420 at this place I think the immediate honesty helped. When he asked how long I've been doing it for I basically said "since the day I moved in" and showed him the two other tents he didn't see.

I think he was just willing to have the responsibility of maintenance and household issues traded for an extra $10-15 a week electricity usage as he has a bunch of properties and hotels to manage already.

Dealing with 7 other young students is hard though. Gotta be on top of my game 24/7 as they are always at the door about something.

i used to be a facilities manager at a large inner city residential development.
expensive apartments.
It was like working in a soap opera getting to know all the residents and their lives.
found a bloke growing weed on his balcony.
this place the owners corp would flip out if you hung a towell on the balcony.
just told him to hide it better as you could see from the street.
