Yeah, back in the day all options were open. Even Caruba got a good run there for a while. Struggle with it nowadays though.

It's Japanese whiskey for me, it surpasses any American or scotch whiskey. The suntory yamazaki is sensational. It's between 300 and up to 3k a bottle here but in Japan you can get it for about 150 for the one the sell at Dans for 470. We're stopping in Japan for 10 days on way home from europe so I'm stocking up

Just finished brewing my first ginger beer. Think its going to be a regular in the kegerator over summer 👌

Ginger Beer, or Ginger-infused beer? Do you really need a flow-control tap on that stuff??

In the height of summer, I'll often pour a stubbie of Coopers Green/Red into a pint glass & top it up with ginger beer, so I can still function sensibly using power tools. Chainsaws & booze don't mix too well.... Always strikes me as too sweet, 'though.

A mate used to make a superb full-mash ginger beer @~ 2% ABV. Mashed for 30 mins @ 72-73C, 15-ish IBU's with whatever he had laying around & a healthy dose of Cascade & fresh ginger to finish.

A keg would only last about 3 days when it was hot......:p

Ginger beer. Just a packet mix from local brew shop. And no the flow control is obvs not necessary but it's what I have on the fridge... What am I? Made of taps? Lol

Never minded a wheat beer from Bavaria when I drank. They go well like a Corona, slice of lemon.
