Looks like you are right about your sodium thiosulphate.
I only remember mine doing the same thing after putting the plant back under lights right after spraying.

Ive been having nothing but success so far with everything ive sprayed using
100mL batch
0.34g SN in 20mL
2g ST pentahydrate in 80mL
Dish washing soap few drops

Yours dont look that bad at all actually, mine would get super fried. I reckon yours should pull through fine, maybe dim the lights for a few days??

No need to keep it in the dark for 24 hours after spray. 12 hours dark is fine. Ensure its not exposed to light immediately after spray

Solution might a bit hot, which burnt the leaves. Both plants should still pull through ok.

Turn off all fans except extraction fan immediately after spray. Fans might be affecting the burns.

Can I please get some feedback/input on this conundrum?

This is now twice that I've tried the Sigma Aldricht formula on a couple of plants & both times, I've had this reaction just 5 days after spraying & keeping the reversed plants in the dark for 24 hrs post-spray.

No prizes for guessing which two have been sprayed 5 days ago... One is a Wonder Woman (L) & the other a Bubba Kush (R).

I know that the Aussie ST is generally Pentahydrate, but the package of ST I got isn't (unless I got a mis-labelled pack?).

1.7g SN in 100ml of distilled water.
1.59g ST in 100ml of distilled water.

Both made-up fresh & mixed 20/80 before spraying.

These things look fucked already & it's the same phenomenon I experienced last time I tried this with the same plants & the same mix.

I know some strains are resistant to reversal, but I've never had this happen before when I used a different formula.

Any ideas?
did the 2 plants you sprayed look like all the other plants in that pic before spraying ?
they're in coco yeah ?

Okay well I think I figured out why it has not worked. My spray solution was brown (decided to tip it out and make new stuff and couldn't see through the amber bottles) It had been sitting in the fridge for a few months wrapped in tin foil. So from now onwards I'm just going to bin my spray solution after spraying and mix fresh batches when it's needed.
When it goes brown usually means you mixes the a into b. The wrong way around, the colour change is instant if that happens

I use the same chemical supplies .my pack of sodium t, is 248.18 g mol on label, and i mix using the Sebring method 1 to 6 I believe , my own method but I scuff the node areas up with a new toothbrush for first spray, coup swipes to help the chemicals penetrate better.

No need to ( just)spray the nodes.
I posted a scientific paper on TSE last year that showed abortion of STS through leaves is more efficient than just spraying the nodes.

Yep, all the same before spraying. They're all clones. Mostly Wonder Woman. Bubba Kush front-right.

Yep, all in coco/perlite. F&D system.
might be just the way i think but keeping plants as healthy as possible when doing any sort of breeding or reversing or even just growing can lead you to the best possible outcome imho , doesn't mean you can't achieve your goal with an unhealthy plant , it can just help you get to where you (or the plant) wanna be more efficiently

Are you suggesting over-watered, or something else?

I just checked my flood schedule/timer & it's was still on 5 minutes flood every 4 hours from the last run (large plants in small pots), so I've just reduced it to 4 mins every 4 hours.

Good pick-up! Thanks!

I did a post here somewhere about the OZ sts..
Had great success with it..

5ml A, 5ml B, 10ml water

But... I spray ONCE...!!!
And it takes 3 weeks to work...
Spraying every few days for 3 weeks is pointless and probably just stressing the plants.

One spray... is all you need. It is powerful stuff... and only spry 1 or 2 tips. NO MORE..

Use a couple of A4 sheets of paper with slits in them to protect the coir and the rest of the plant..

Don't get any on you and don't breathe it in .

And don't smoke or eat ANY part of that plant you have treated...

Also... if your doing autos or have different tents for photos.

Start the plant to be selfed 4 weeks earlier than the others...
Otherwise the plants getting pollinated by the selfed one get too far advanced before being pollinated.. They get too over cooked before the seeds are ripe or you get too much seed...
The seed needs to be fully mature otherwise they won't have absorbed enough "carbohydrate load" to germ properly and you get seed that stalls soon after germing..
As soon as you see a bit of loose pollen... cut the 1 or 2 colas off and Ditch them so the whole crop doesn't get over seeded...

If you germ or flip the pollen donor 4 weeks earlier...
You get trannie cum when the other plants only have minimal stigma and you don't get TOO MUCH SEED...👍

You don't need to pop more than 1 autoflower for chucking. If you spray at the right time you can successfully self an autoflower.

i was just suggesting the plants didn't look happy & anytime your trying to do almost anything with plants that aren't happy / healthy your outcomes can be mixed

as far as over watered go's , yes i was thinking that but over & under watering look very similar , if it's over watering i'm not sure your changes will have the desired effect though , over watering is not really the amount of water given to a plant it's the frequency the plant is watered , in small pots with large plants you would expect to water more frequently & the opposite for larger pots with smaller plants would be watered less frequently , the fact that plants are growing / roots balls increasing means watering is a constant frequency variable

a very rough rule of thumb , if the leaf stem is pointing up while the leaf is drooping usually means over watered , if the leaf & leaf stem are both drooping it's under watered , again it's a " very rough " rule of thumb , better to have other checks in place like checking the weight of the pot dry when you pot up & then watered so you get a feel for each
