Hi 😁

I planted some strawberry tops in my seedling tent, because they were delicious! do you think they will produce fruit under my cheap china LED's from my other posts? I want strawberries all year round and I'm trying to repurpose my crappy lights 🤣

Awesome! waiting for the seeds to pop, from reading takes around 2 months. Been in for 2 weeks.

I've tried to germinate alpine strawberries before.

From memory berry seeds need to be winterized (seed stratification), they need a cold snap before they germinate. Some put them in the fridge but I have no experience with it.

I've tried growing a few varieties and have found most are really sensitive and die off easily, but I have found a hardy strain that has dealt with bad conditions for a few years https://www.bunnings.com.au/100mm-s...u58wd1KkmCxPEsnNM8UrJtsjG5KZcUZX-kmHEUABKgCAk

Hopefully you can get your seeds to germinate but if they don't I'd recommend the pink ones 👍🏻

I grew strawberries with a small spiderfarmer SF300 so yes. Cheap Chinese lights will grow 🍓 😂
I have mine outside now but I plan on setting up more.

just something to think about , probably the best thing for your health is to only eat what is in season , eating the same thing all year round although beautiful to taste most likely not good for you
