Plant's don't work like that after grafting, best you will get is hops growing from Canna roots.

But what about the old theory that each canna plant has oil pot/reservoir in the base of the plant. That's why when you pull them you should dip the roots in boiling water so to push the remaining oil to the heads? You wouldn't wanna know how long i thought that theory held up. Thank fuck the internet came about..

Gotta hang em upside down with the roots on when you dry as well. Make sure it flows down into the buds

Don't forget to add sugar to the boiling water as it helps the natural sugars in the plant move to the buds!!
