An experienced grower/breeder has recommended to me to use Yates Success for caterpillar/bug problems.Never used it myself but over the years I’ve heard that Dipel does the job on them..
Same thing as dipel I think. An experienced grower/breeder has recommended to me to use Yates Success for caterpillar/bug problems.
BTI is the way. Anarchys No Gnats is good.Same thing as dipel I think.
Bacillus Thuringiensis Kurstaki aka BTK
Did a bit of research and found that the Kurstaki strain is not effective for gnats unlike Bacillus Thuringiensis Israelensis (BTI). BTK is way cheaper than BTI, gotta spend $40 for 6 mozzie dunks ...![]()

I have had varying results using dipel. Although I stop spraying 4-5 weeks before harvest. I will use yates Success and then I will have a better opinion. Last year I lost about a pound due to caterpillar damage. This year if I only lose 1/2 pound I will be happy. You think dipel doest work ?
