I only tried em once 30 years ago. One of the funniest and strangest days of my life. I was a god on the pool table, couldn’t be beaten.

You definitely want to know what you are doing though… the wrong ones can basically dissolve your liver.

Beef Wellingtons anyone?

Very fleeting, a couple of hours later.

We've got a big lawn, best friend in this situation is a good ride on, no cheapo shit. gotta get one with a hood and engine at the front or if your fancy one of them zero turn mower although never used one. Think them zero turn mowers with the funny steering levers has a wider cut so quicker job
Once you’ve had a zero turn you will never go back. It’s not so much the cut width, but the manoeuvrability of thing. You can whip around the clothesline or a tree in a few seconds. Plus you can do about 5km an hour and still cut the grass well as long as it isn’t too high. I just love getting out of it, ear muffs on and into it. Very zen, only regret is you can’t really have a beer while doing it. Plus you can tear up the lawn a bit with high speed turns😂

Thanks guys, this one is my forever place. We get a dry season so I know what it’s like with no rain for awhile, but it cuts down on the mowing, and the seasons are just a part of life.

Boat ramp not far away. Down the front there is a rock bar my uncle used to launch his tinny from before it got built out in the area. Massive tides here, up to 7m on the spring tides. So the ramps are all half tide. Plus the sun here in an open boat you want a morning tide.

Killer view, keeps me somewhat sane🤪

Was drought and fires when I bought the place. Got it for a steal, nice house, massive shed. Best bit of fraud I ever committed. Picture late 2018, lots of it bare rock or bigger all soil. Mow, weed, fertiliser, gypsum and topdress… rinse and repeat.
