Hi I was just seeing what Aussie growers use as an organic fertilizer for a soil grow for the flower stage?

I make a super soil and then dont feed plants for 4 weeks as the soil has so much nutrients.

Then for Veg I give them: Seasol+ Powerfeed + Go Go juice (this has high N and Low P + K)

What do you use for Flower stage? (I am struggling to find organic fertilizers low in N and high in P + K)?

I was thinking of using this its nutrient profile is (N:p:K) 12-2-13 and then I can maybe add wood ash to boost P

Would love to hear peoples thoughts

Umm, did u read the nitrogen content in that stuff ?
Not sure if good 4 flowering
Cut back on N and grad introduce more P and K
Then about 5 weeks in 2 flower, u can use P,K booster
On a 10-11 weer strain of course

Use it as soon as possible after mixing or you will end up with lots of snot balls floating in it.

If you are already using Powerfeed for veg then just get the purple or red bottle of powerfeed, for flowering,
you can still add potash if you want.

the seasol isn’t a food, more of a tonic,
the go go juice isn’t a feed either ,,but it feeds the soil microbes that in turn feed the roots.,,but probably works better in it’s in the ground rather than a pot

The Seasol will contain some Potassium (K) but it is not stated how much as they don't classify it as a fertiliser.

Eco-seaweed might be a good "organic" choice to boost potassium:
100% seaweed extract containing Ascophyllum nodosum
Dry matter 95% (moisture 5%)
Organic matter 45-50%
Ash 45-55%
Nitrogen (N) 1%
Phosphorus (P) 0.1%
Potassium (K) 12%
Amino acids 6%
Plant Growth Regulators: 600ppm made up of Cytokinins, Auxins, Gibberellins and Betaines
Plus Magnesium, Calcium, Iron, Sulphur, Copper, Manganese, Zinc, Boron and other trace elements

Charlie Carp also has some potassium but is quite high in nitrogen as well.

As for Phosphorus (P), there is plenty in the soil, it just isn't plant available. Soil microbes unlock it and make it available to the plants. That's where Go go juice helps or you could try something like Biostim MycoGold

Edit: even better is continual top dress with worm castings and mulch, fresh is best.

You need lots of calcium for the plant to properly uptake K to maximise yield and maintain quality. P to K ratio is also really important. I make a 2-3-2 all purpose cert. Organic dry fert called Regenerate that works great for flower but does contain N at 2 to 3% being that it's an all purpose... May not suit some, however I've found it's fine. K in the form of potassium sulphate... Extremely low sodium, completely soluble potassium. Phosphorus from colloidal soft rock phosphate and fish bone meal and calcium from natural gypsum and fish bone meal.

Continual topdress with worm castings will definitely get U there!

When I have mixed it and I don't use it the first day, eventually I get a few clots forming in the liquid. Maybe this is specific to me as I usually also add some wetting agent, either Eco-Hydrate or Seasol Super Soil Wetter. It is like the Aminogro reforms into clumps even after it has been thoroughly mixed.
Edit: snot seems to be the best description that fits

Would you suggest in the flower stage using:
eco-seaweed + Go Go Juice + Worm Casting top dress + Mulch(what mulch? do you mean compost or manure? and what type please?)

Do you think that mix would have enough Phosphorus for flowering?

Unfortunately I cant buy fertilizer high in Phosphorus at local WA stores because of a stupid law.

Slow down young grasshopper, any half decent potting mix will get u started
If u dont have access 2 online stuff then any broken down manure..[horse,sheep,cow] can be top dressed and added when in flower
As long as ure plant can use most basic of nutes, and u got clean water then u can get started
We were all at where u are at one stage and dreamt the good dream of just giving it a water and waking up 2 a pound of buds hanging off bush
ppl get a bit annoyed when most of em hit google hard or did due diligence on reading up on how 2 grow and then are expected 2 give it all up by some one not prepared 2
Don't take this wrong way, nearly ev/one in this commune are willing 2 help.......just gotta ease ure way in
Pretty sure with time u'll find answers ure looking 4

Everything depends on your pot size, plant size and the nutrients in the soil.
For mulch I am currently using sugar cane mulch because that's what I have. Its quite good and has a good range a particle sizes, the smaller stuff breaks down quickly leaving larger chunks as a cover. Pea Straw mulch is good too but breaks down much faster than the sugar cane. Both keep the top of the soil moist.
In any case a good balanced range of nutrients throughout the grow will prevent other deficiencies or lock out.

I have decided to try this for organic fertilisers:

First make a Super Soil=

  • 4 cups - Spreadable Microbes (N=0%,P=1.8%,K=0.6%, Ca=11.5%)
  • 2L - Fresh Worm Castings = N
  • 1 bag - Seasol Super Compost = (N=2.45, P=0.1%,K=2.5%)
  • 4 cups - Diatomaceous Earth
  • 4 cups - Seasol Biochar with Zeolite = Added Seasol in product(N=0.1%, P=0.01%, K=1.5%)
  • 9 grow bags(filled 70%) – Coco Coir
  • 1 small bag Perlite
  • Water with added Go-Go Juice to activate microbiology
  • Put root powder when transplanting
  • Use Fabric Pots

Seedling- Fertilizer- the super soil will have enough nutrients for 3-4 weeks at least just Water with Go-Go Juice

Vegatative- Fertilizer
  • Go-Go Juice(Feeds microbiology)
  • BIOCANNA Bio Vega + BIOCANNA BioBOOST(Late VEG)

Flower-Fertilizer
  • Go-Go Juice(Feeds microbiology)
  • BIOCANNA Bio Flores
  • BIOCANNA BioBOOST
  • Bio Diesel (Guano – organic Phosphorous)

I think this is probably going to be an easy solution for an organic fertilizer that covers all the different ranges of NPK thorughout the life stages

Let me know if any of you have used BIOCANNA and the results thanks
