I’m hoping this wet season to see these in full swing. Been going for over 10 years and only ever seen a cliff. Cassowary is also on my bucket list. This morning, after some good rain. Family pic.

Nice early morning shot of Barron Falls? Possibly going to run harder than that, i read somewhere they had up to 380mm in some parts up NQ/FNQ.

ok. i’m an amateur photographer ( though did start ( never finished) my masters degree in photomedia ( under graduate was film).

first. this was (10) years ago before i bought a nice digital camera and i’d given up with film. these were taken on an ipad. so excuse quality. i walked the west highland way in scotland. one of the best experiences of my life.
a lot of my ancestors were Scottish and it was amazing the overwhelming feeling of somehow being “home” i felt here.
had similar experience in england but those pictures will come later. i won’t post them all but if i do post too many please tell me to take it easy
first day of walk was Inverarnen to Crianlarich.
