Is that 650 true watts recommended for a 4 feet x 2feet space?

Seems excessive at 80 watts per square foot, if it is.
Hey mate, its designed for 4x2 garden beds, so min space would be 5x3. Its also has a higher BTU output due to its design size. I wouldnt recommend it for a 4x2 space. A 300-400W light would be more beneficial. This is more for people running multiple beds in a larger space and not wanting light spill.

Is this the LFG 650W listed in your shop? Does it includes the smart controller?
Sure is listed. Out of stock as we have been bringing them into order so far but will start holding. The turn around times are incredible. We are getting units from the manufacturer in hand a week after placing an order.

Unfortunately smart controller is not included. Eagle eyed watchers might notice its identical to GML's smart controller 👀

the GML's look very interesting with the extra led's round the edges to give a more even consistent coverage across the canopy , you looking at that as an idea for your lights ?

No, that was the solution previously. Now the manufacturer runs mini polycarbonate lenses for both spread and depth. Less than 10% ppfd loss centre to edge in 4x4.

Just about no one designs their own lights and even less manufacture.

I've noticed if a manufacturer or assembler gets the lens right it can makes a huge difference
Foshe has been doing it for awhile, but at $2500 a light, it’s not that feasible for retail.

So far we are immensely impressed. The quality and care far exceeds the price. We are recommending these to all our VIP customers.

China is crushing the game right now.

yes he seems to be getting around about the same 10% with his Tarantula Tent Ultimate 5x5
buildasoil is currently running a side by side with the GML above & the Highgrove Cypress EVO which has the added green leds
