What do reckon mate can you tell the difference with UV??

I’ve got a growlights Australia 420 board with uvb and their older gen1 uv highlights boards. Compared to my older hlg non raped cutter knockoffs I’d say there’s not much difference weight and look wise but the uv bud is slightly stickier with more frosting.

This is anecdotal but as it has been observations made over time but has been all the same clones

Yeah sweet!! My mate still runs his and he reckons his buds smell more with it than without.
I couldn't tell the difference smoke wise but he'd only done 2 runs with em before he moved back to QLD.

I reckon you need to do a bit of internet shopping. I’m in the same position,my local hydro shop is Bunnings too. There is an aquarium shop that’s handy for ph&Ec pens and ph up and down,that’s it. I use Mars Hydro light and tent. They send it free. They have a 100w light for about $100,no dimmer tho. I just bought one during the Black Friday deals. Does 60x60

Even look at cfl options. I’ve kept clones going with a four split cfl ( actually two blown globes) and even vegged for a few weeks. But you would need to keep it really close to the plants.

I'm hearing you man on CFLs
I just haven't quite bitten the e bulllett on the CFLs yet but won't take much to convince me I'm a LEO

Honestly mate I think you should start by looking at your grow space. Think about the max plants you can fit in there, including other crap like fans etc.
and also think if it’s going to do you for a while or if you will upgrade to something bigger.

Then look at lights that fit your space.
Compare the price, footprint, watts etc.
There’s going to be many decent options to go with. And they will all grow buds.
Ends up being how much you feel like spending in the end.

Get a pen and paper out. Make a comparison table.

I have this light but I was told only good for veg not for flower.

It should flower ,,even has red diodes,,but small footprint ,,
I wouldn’t bother flowering with it myself but for a single small plant it will suffice,

Under that light you would need small pots ,,and Don’t think autos like small pots or repotting ,,so for six autos you probably want a light with bigger footprint..
