Went out yesterday morning and flicked a few plastics around. Fortunate enough to live a few minutes away from the river. Got a few bream, flathead and tailor all released back.
Enjoy crabbing for blue swimmers also when its season.

I got it for 15k one of the motors had no compression in one of the cylinders, they are twin 350 chevs but i have a rebuilt chev in my shed i built a while back( its a hobby of mine i love building motors) i pulled the rocker covers off to have a look and one of the rocker arms was broken and a valve was stuck open a bit , i thought the piston had smacked it, so took the head off and the old bloke hadnt used it for ages as hes been crook and it must have seased in last position and broke the rocker when they started it, i have a spare heads at home so wacked one on with a nother rocker arm and push rod and shes purring like a kitten, win, so im now collecting parts to build another moter so when it comes out for antfoal ill drop them in, it cost me about 3500 to build a motor so we got a bargan

Fark what a wild ride, we took the big boat for its first decent long run over to horse shoe bay on peel island, cruised like a dream on way over, anchored up and a mate ferried us all over to the beach for the day in his tinnie, after an awsome day we head home, half way back one of the motors started running weird so i just backed off a bit and kept going, me and my mate were up in the fly bridge loving life smoking a scube when the kids start screaming theres water in the boat, then the over heat alarm goes off on the motor having issurs so i shut it down leave my mate at the wheel limping along on one engine, the lower cabin floor is about 550mm from the bottom of the hull and has about an inch of water over it, panic sets in and is amplified by the scube of sedges shit we just smoked, i pulled up the engine hatch and its full of steam and water, like full, full panic sets in we're sinking i yell out, the 2 wives and all our kids start panicing, i look for the land and its about 3km away, i yell out to my mate start heading for the shallows, then i see it, the hose from the salt water pump to the heat exchanger has come off, the old hose clamp had rusted through and the raw water pump had been pumping water straight into the hull slowly sinking us,i turned the sea cock off to stop the flow to that engine and watched nervously for the next 20 mins to comfirm the bildge pump.is lowering the water, so we started to back out to go into the channel to get to the marina, then mates wife looks at me in panic and says where are we goin i said back out were ok now ( shes romanian) then she looks at me with fear and says are you sure i cant fucking swim!!. The most scariest thing ive had happen in a boat, in sydney id just go up and down the river and out in botany bay not fuckin 18k or whatever the fuck it is out, so last couple days i was adamant im selling the boat but today im felling a bit better about it, ive got a couple chev bkocks in the shed i think im gunna build some nice new donks and change all the hoses etc for peice of mind and keep it

Fuck mate all i could think about was the 5 or so dirty big bull sharks circling the boat a couple days prior when we were throwing the old crab bait out of the nets in the water and the fuckers going nuts
