Look at the positives. You did buy a viable pack of seeds from a fly by nighter on finsta. They also sold you a 10 pack of seeds that retail for $2,000 ( apparently) for only about $200. What are the odds of such an absolute bargain. 😜 If it walks like a duck....😉. Ive got a harbour bridge for sale in Sydney, you might be interested in 🇦🇺. I'll need to go and calculate a fair price on my abacus. haha
I didn’t pay that much for them, and I did do some research and knew that they weren’t realistically being sold for the websites listed price.

If you find out what seed banks in the US are selling them for, convert it to AUD, add shipping costs, the chances of making it through customs, then the price I paid was pretty comparable, except there was no chance of losing them to customs because they were already here.

I don’t know if I’d call them a fly by nighter either. They’re still operating, and have lasted longer than all of the legitimate Australian websites everyone here complains don’t exist anymore.

Anyways, none of this is the point. I’m not trying to convince you where to buy from, all I’m saying is that in the year 2023, it's stupid to judge someone for being on instagram, because everyone is on instagram. Trust it or not, like it or not, that's just how it is.

Not to mention that I can set up a website for less than the cost of a coffee these days, so if you think having a website makes someone legitimate, I know a Nigerian prince who has a billion dollars he wants to share with you.

Nah just kidding, no one does bridge scams or Nigerian prince scams anymore.

Using finsta is fine. Using finsta to buy stuff is a sure way to get ripped off. Just a hunch, but I'll bet those seeds you bought arent the breeder strains you think you bought. Almost certainly they're white label, and you've likely paid well over the odds. Strains from USA were in sealed packs DIRECTLY from the breeder himself. Just like 7East Genetics purchases are direct from the breeder. Your third party insta contact isn't adding any value to your seeds, just lining their pockets with your money. Theyre not providing a community service, they're just skimming profits. Caveat Emptor. Caveat Emptor. Caveat Emptor. The rules of purchase haven't changed in the last 4000 years. Your money, and you can spend it however you like. Just don't try and convince anyone that finsta is a legitimate trading platform. Because it isn't, it's full of scammers looking to make a quick buck from naive punters.

Once upon a time in 1997, I made my first online purchase. A plane ticket to go on a party holiday in Mexico. My friends thought I was risky for putting my credit card "into the internet". It was fine, we smoked weed on beaches, drank too much tequila, and made many questionable choices. Now I'm talking about my illegal hobby with a bunch of strangers on the internet and order almost everything I own online. There is no real point to this story, I'm just old and rambling....

Instagram only when you want to hide and sell dodgy shit with no contact info. Notice 7 East has an adress, email and social media because they don't have anything to hide
Writing an address on your website means nothing or an email, are u being serious now mate? Just coz something has an email and an address it makes it legit?

I have popped 2 strains of his 2 seeds each so 4 seeds all up. Put in shot glass of water and tap root was 5mm long in under 18 hours so skipped paper towel and went into Coco. Super fast 100% germ rate. I know this doesn't say anything for the genetics but just saying. Will keep you guys posted.

Ok.....was bound to happen sooner or later. An Aus "seedbank" called Madcanna is now stocking a large range of Ethos breeder seeds( sealed packs), 10 seeds for $220( that's $22 each seed).....cough.... sorry, I just chocked on my breakfast. Still, cheaper than Instagram where Ethos copies sell for $30 each seed. 🤣 Cha-ching!! A $5 monthly contribution to TSE to help pay for postage for competition winners, seems like a bargain. But, it's handy to know we can always buy cheap seeds in Aus through Instagram, and websites like Madcanna. 🤣🤣 When you add postage to your Madcanna purchase you can buy 2 seeds per year, for the equivalent cost of an entire yearly TSE subscription. True story. 😉. Examples below of the 40 free seeds that @Billygoat and @Sedge are giving away every single week( 2000 seeds every year). I doubt the $5 a month membership contribution is even covering their yearly postage costs. IMG_20230621_163236144.jpgIMG_20230621_163219325.jpg I'm a proud TSE community member, and glad there's lots of other punters in Aus that feel the same way 🇦🇺.
