Mine is perfect, all though I was told to check the wiring and soldering by the experts here in this forum, mine has had no issues. I check shit right over too mate.
Glad you can vouch for it after having it for a week or 2 and you did your research.

I have read a few reports of Mars products being a pain in the bidet hole because of poor or non existent warranty service. Buyer beware.
I've heard they'll send out the parts like drivers or dimmers if they break, but you have to do the swap. Or you can send the light back and wait a while.

Not long back Orb's HLG Blackwing shit itself and it took like 4 months for him to get his light back.. we might aswell throw shade at all the light manufacturers. There's always going to be a few lemons here and there, no matter which brand...

Online I guess well see, I'm not leaving the forum anytime soon compared to my digital HPS it kicks ass! I only have it set at 750 because my tent is only 4x4.

All good advice for forum member's, you have to listen to the crowd and make your own mind up.

Fuck for the price of the FC-E6500 and quality I cannot complain yet..

I repair electronics every day that's how I make my bread (y)

TS2000 has been going great in my 2×4 for a few grows also. No melted connectors, driver has not shit itself nor has the dimmer.

Sure the driver is some no name Shenzen special, that's the only hit or miss thing about it.

Mars use bridgelux diodes now. It's the drivers and connectors are the parts that will let them down. The poor connections can be fixed and drivers can be replaced
mine has a different driver to the ones I've seen in the videos? it seems to be good quality...

Nah I got gen 2, had them running at 0.76a for years, first couple of strips are showing their age now from the current hogging.
It's done me fine but it's definitely time for an upgrade.
I have my new gear, tent and lights all ready to go but have to replace a few weatherboards and fix some other things before I can set it up.
I've got a 1.4a 343v so I'm thinking of running 16 in a series/parallel circuit. So sets of 2 strips parallel then all in series. The pairs of strips will split the 1.4a i to .7a ant they will draw about 40v each so can run 8 sets of 2.

That sounds like it would go well, wouldn't need heatsinks either but if you got them then might aswell use them.

I've got 10 per 320w driver, .75a I reckon I could run them at .80a without heatsinks.
Better just to run them soft though, safer and more longevity.

This time around with my haze plants I've been pretty impressed with the density of the lower buds with my light raised up way further than previous grows, got some real solid nugs for being sativa and be lucky if they were getting 30000 lux,
All my prior grows have been with smaller indicas and there has been plenty of light for them.

I reckon I'd be able to fill the 5X5 wall to wall and still get decent results. Bridgelux strips are bulletproof, theyve been good to me, very reliable.

Yeah i had a light built with Gen 2 strips a few years back but gave it to a mate before I moved interstate. Half the strips are Caput on my current strip light. So it's a basic strip change. There mounted onto 50x50mm alloy tube I got cheap off marketplace . I'm thinking of running 2 colours. 4000k and maybe 3000k or Even a 5000k and a 2700k, I'm not sure have to study the spectrum chart a bit more. 2 strips will fit on the same 50x50 tube so will have 8 bars all up. The 2 colours should blend together nice being right next to each other. Sorry for complicating you basic light thread frog 😆

So with higher cri you get more red and far red compared to 80 cri, so they reckon 4000k 98 cri is closer to 3000k 80 cri but I need to brush up on my research too.

What I remember was people complaining about the stretch from the extra reds from the higher cri strips, especially the 2700k-3000k. They had to spike the blue with 80 cri 5000k strips to balance it better.
That's all I know, 4000k 98cri would probably the ones for seed to harvest

Mine was pre built no plugs, just power was super easy, it's fold able, must be newest version
