Autoflower seed production

I made some seeds from strawberry milk and qookies Autoflower the 1st cross they did make another cross but switched the parents around. Anyway this was some really nice smoke. I grew 2 plants one for smoking the other to produce seeds from. I was successful making seeds using my typical sts method. However when I tried growing the offspring they were runts. I mean they just didn't hit the gas peddle. Ended up throwing them only tried 3 seeds but all 3 did the same thing. I will try again to see what happens.
I am thinking that I should grow 2 from the original seeds and cross them with each other rather than crossing it onto itself.
Anyone care to share their thoughts.

Sounds like it's worth a shot.
Strawberry milk and qookies is probably one of the frostiest autoflowers I've ever laid eyes on.

I would like to see you grow em out 😍😄

Same as b4. They lack any vigor. I will give them another week or 2 b4 disposing of them.
So my question is the parent of these seeds was a strawberry milk and qookies autoflower that I treated with sts spray then used the pollen to produce seeds. Only one plant was used.
This a fail imo so I will most likely throw away all those seeds. Or throw them in the scrub for shits and giggles.
Going forward I would still like to produce seeds from this strain so I could use the original seeds I was given and use sts spray on one clone to use the pollen to pollinate a different clone ie different seed.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

That is odd mate. I'll usually get a runt here and there but to have three for three all looking off is a shame. Best of luck for next run. I've lost too many strains I like due to inactivity so hope you get some keepers off the next lot.

You may have an issue with your grow environments or grow media.
It may, or may not be, a genetic issue.

Unusual for all 3 seeds to stall like that.

If you have lots of these seeds, maybe post a few seeds to another TSE member, to see if they can get them going?

Unlikely environmental as I have other seeds that grow fine in exactly the same conditions, it is just these that seem to have problems with. This now makes it 7 for 7 runts.
I have plenty of seeds and always happy to share some around. Just feel that these seeds are a waste of time. If anyone is wanting to try some I am happy to give away.
