Ok I'll just water with no nutes for a bit see what happensWhatever your doing just stop doing it
Nah always use nutes in coco even half strength better than just water just water it through till you get the same runoff numbers that’s going in I’m guessing being outside in the sun and wind your getting excessive dryback in the medium causing the burn symptoms keep her moist with a low ec n she bounce back I reckonOk I'll just water with no nutes for a bit see what happens
Nah still need to buy a meterdo you measure the EC/ppm of your nutes and your run off ??
Yeah that would be really helpful. Monitoring your run off will keep you informed on the salt content in your rootzone. Also your watering practices in terms of how much and how often will also need to be dialled in. Once you do this its easy to keep the system in balance and the plant will thrive.Nah still need to buy a meter
Can you recommend an EC meter ..?Yeah that would be really helpful. Monitoring your run off will keep you informed on the salt content in your rootzone. honestly the cheap ones are fine. $15-$20 the technology involved is so basic that they are very easy and cheap to make. just check that its calibrated when you get it. sometimes they do it for you in the shop but if you buy one online see if it has a sachet of calibrating liquid with it or youll need to buy a small one. You wont need much I usually check my calibration about once every six months and its rarely off anyway. Can you recommend an EC meter ..?
Ok thanks for the heads up mate. Ill order onehonestly the cheap ones are fine. $15-$20 the technology involved is so basic that they are very easy and cheap to make. just check that its calibrated when you get it. sometimes they do it for you in the shop but if you buy one online see if it has a sachet of calibrating liquid with it or youll need to buy a small one. I have been watering every 2-3 days. About a litre maybe slightly more. Generally share a 1.8l between two plants. They are only small at 4 nodes and 6 nodes. I'm adding 2 ml of each nute and 2ml of cal mag. Don't have an EC meter yet but getting one. Nutirents are advanced nutes grow, micro, bloom, b52 and calmag. They are in 3 gal fabric pots so they are draining well enough I reckon...?How often are you watering? How much water are you giving it ? How much nutrients are you adding each water? What is your ec going in? What is your ph going in ? What nutrients are you using? Do you drain to waste?
Ok cheers mate I'll take that approach. How do I know what my EC's supposed to be ?As the other guys have mentioned, in a coco/perlite mix you need to be watering every day. You'll be getting too much dry back and that will be negatively effecting both the EC and pH of your coco/perlite mix.
I've used those same AN nutes before in coco/perlite and I'd recommend using them @ half strength until your about a week off shifting into flower, making sure you're getting at least 10% runoff out of the bottom of the pot.
I doubt the CalMg is really necessary either and personally I'd be cutting out the B52 for now and keeping it simple with just the base nutes until the plant is showing better health.
I've only done half a dozen grows using coco/perlite, but have found it to be a great medium if you follow a few simple rules:
Water every day, Measure EC in and EC out, Water until 10% runoff (drain to waist).

You also need to measure your p.h. It's critical to keep it in the right rangeI have been watering every 2-3 days. About a litre maybe slightly more. Generally share a 1.8l between two plants.
