Hi all. Really hoping this is safe place for free and open discussion. Have been growing for a long long time. Recently got rot (pythium, I think) in my system. Have been cycling the same strain (blue cheese) for about 10 years. Gutted to lose it. Anyways hoping find a legit seed supplier for a potent strain. TIA for any reliable help.

Hey mate welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear about the blue cheese. Chlorine will deal with the pythium if you happen to get it again. As far as I know Blue Cheese has changed drastically. Barneys lost the parents a long time ago apparently.

I've heard Big Buddha's blue cheese is okay.
Seeds are also available from the comps here which are sometimes open to non members but mostly community members 👍🏼

Interested how to use the chlorine. Ive got a few clones hanging on for dear life and a mother plant that is reshooting. The rot seems to be in the plant. Clones aren't taking and growth on mother plant has what I think is like black spot mould you get on tomatoes. I run canazym and flush every two weeks.

I just do 4 grams mixed in a 2L bottle of water, then use at 1-3mL / litre.

Bleach can also be used but it's salty which is less ideal
