Be interesting to add up how much is spent on nutes during an average grow versus the high initial cost of the soil.

$1 a litre for a supersoil type mix.
If you do it yourself, have high quality castings and a cheap peat source.

Last I checked this was a Cootes type mix which is what U want.

I feed the worms what I put in the soil so a few $$$ there.

Can do 2x grows easy if I want with water only and a few compost teas.

Easy as is good stuff.
Very similar to my earlier stuff.
Only change I made really was adding rice hulls as part of the aeration.

I have done a lot of work though.
Most people can't or don't want to.

Have used this product and it's very nice.

I reckon a thrifty hydro run would be about 1/2 the price but if you decided on expensive nutes and lots of additives It might cost triple. Id imagine that neither would match the taste of the soil though

I was just a bit surprised, I've never looked the price of super soils until tonight. Must be made of ground unicorns hehe.

Also, a few players in the market, some price variation also like anything
