As the title suggest this is not my plant and he lives quite a way away to go and help him regularly so hoping you guys can help me out here whats the best advice i can give him without saying "throw it away" hehehe

Bag seed , Random soil in a green house its whole life
Is this just poor genetics combined with stress and neglect ?

It’s got some sort of pest to start with and also I’d say it’s not getting enough light that greenhouse stuff blocking the light out?

Is that what causes the huge spacing between the nodes ?
Maybe stretched her out a bit much causing the buds to stretch off the stem searching for more light ? I’m only shooting the shit n guessing though but there is def a critter problem going on mate👍

Looks to be leaf hoppers. (Can see a couple of them in the first pick) Not normally a problem unless they reach a certain threshhold.........
Some other underlying problem drew them in im guessing.
heat stress/water stress....etc

Good luck

Yeah that’s my first thought too,,,not enough light.
Get him to identify what has been nibbling on the leaves,,,if it is still happening ,,,and then treat it.

Agree with everyone....perhaps a combo of light & nutrients from the get go, there's a pest issue too but I don't think they have anything to do with her bud formation.....interesting she only has 3 points/fingers on most leaves too?
