Doesn't really surprise me.. prices were more jacked than Mr Beans collectables.Saw their insta post. I haven't got from them before - they look like they had good stock. Shame to see them go
Yeah the wally duck was mostly what interested me. the CSI stuff also, but would probably chance it going direct if I wanted it.Doesn't really surprise me.. prices were more jacked than Mr Beans collectables.
The only thing that looked appealing was the wally duck stuff like the mango haze ibl and the c99 cross.. everything else was just mostly chucks which didn't justify the high prices in my opinion..
Yeah that's how I felt about it, you can basically email wally for a list and buy directly from him probably a bit cheaper too, and the amount of freebies from CSI is too good to not order directly from from themYeah the wally duck was mostly what interested me. the CSI stuff also, but would probably chance it going direct if I wanted it.
I saw that gurt by seeds put up a bunch of stock on their website recently. But unsure what their long term plans are.
Even being pricey, was just nice to see a few local places in the mix. I'm sure someone else will step in soon enough
?Curious about the above comments.. wondering what people know that I don't re TSSB/HD?
Their prices seem comparable to overseas costs given currency conversions, shipping costs and the risk of seizure..
Yeah thats true and I've ordered original breeders packs in the past from a local seedbank too. The packs I bought back then for $120 AUD are now $116 AUD direct from the breeder (which doesn't include shipping. They don't send to Australia anymore anyway) so I think I did pretty well looking back.Sure their prices are inflated but I'd prefer that than losing the entire shipment and hundreds of $$ which has happened on several occasions now
Its an inside joke nothing more. Not something to be explained on the internet. Aside from that the genetics are fine and also legitimate which is the main thing. Certainly not hating on the plant side of things.Curious about the above comments.. wondering what people know that I don't re TSSB/HD?
I have a fallen soldiers cross somewhere in the fridge too, was the fallen soldiers a freebie?Fair enough Goonie, thanks for the reply. I wasn't referring to your comment initially btw, it was more the IYKYK and cowboys comment that I was curious about - which Green G has clarified above, cheers.
Also, just to clarify, the variety I got in the CSI fallen soldiers packs was expected, each seed is from a different parent so not so much about the poly hybrid thing, but I get your point.
I have only bought CSI and HD beans from TSSB. From what I gather CSI does F1s crosses of hyped clone only strains but he also does 100+ plant pheno hunts from S1s of those same hyped clone only strains and crosses his best picks - I'm running an example of this outdoors this season, his Chemdog '91 S1 #12 x Purple Urkle S1 #103
As to HD's breeding methods, I have no clue, but I would presume it's more than just pollen chucking (not that I think you're suggesting that, but just to say there's probably some value add which he is charging for).
Soz for hijackin but ya get much lemon from that cross? Got a pack but know nothing about lemon mazar (lemon skunk x some Afghani or something?)Was running them along side a pack of the RufiOz x Mazar from Gurt by Seeds which well and truely outshone them.
No mate, ran the whole pack and nothing in the way of lemon. I figure the Mac/oreoz tended to dominate the terps. They had a huge stretch, solid frosty nugs, sweet, earthy nose. Here's a few examples..Soz for hijackin but ya get much lemon from that cross? Got a pack but know nothing about lemon mazar (lemon skunk x some Afghani or something?)
Interesting. Ran the starmox x and got mostly menthol with some floral stuff after cure. Cheers for the info!No mate, ran the whole pack and nothing in the way of lemon. I figure the Mac/oreoz
