I'd say you're right about that too.View attachment 53965to me the 3500k ( green line) looks to be the best arounder in the Bridgelux strips. Anyone got any thoughts
Yeah the 4000k look good to. I might use 4 of each. A few of my other strips have gone out so im replacing the lot for after xmass when I'm back. The strips I'm using now are from cutter but all the whites on them are bridgelux with cutter deep reds. I dunno how important the deep reds are when they have enough red in them anyway. The cutter only come in 560mm so im going with the bridgelux for A there the same price for 1120mm as the cutter are for the 560 and 1120 is just easier to mount and wire 1 per row not 2You're pretty bang on the money though. Plenty of people running 4000k 90 cri seed to harvest with great reresults
Yeah those cutter boards are expensive, but I'm sure they're still worth it if you can afford it. I've seen posts saying that you can balance the 98 cri 3000k's out with a few 80 CRI 5000k strips. But I reckon just stick to the 1 colour in 3500k or 4000k. Like you said there's plenty of red in the higher cri strips already. I think they were more of an addition to 80 CRI strips just to bump the reds up a bit to get better efficiency or something like that..Yeah the 4000k look good to. I might use 4 of each.
