Stretching seedlings

This my first grow for a long long time, seeds are headstrong from 7East all germinated within 24hrs of soaking in distilled water.
Got a beginners 2'X 2' spiderfarmer tent light etc kit

Pic is them 7 days old and 4 out of 6 are stretching quite a lot and the one with the toothpicks fell over, from convention gardening stretch is lack of light so 2 days ago I lowered it to 30cm/12"
previous it was at their recommended 18" @ 50%

Got that photone app on the phone and the level was 300 PPFD @ 18"which is supposed to be the max for seedlings, also have the little fan on low not directly blowing on them but enough to get the air moving in the tent

Whats going wrong or should I relax

Photone is only a roundabout reading it's not pinpoint accurate but I say you have already done what most would recommend let the plants guide ya, not the app if they're stretching it's almost always because they want more light. I would leave it at 12" and see how that goes also what light are you running ?

probs just relax man now that you've adjusted the light, seeds are probably a bit shallow, when you transplant them up plant them deeper to take up the leggyness

all good. you should see mine when they are little.
when transplanting as mentioned bury deeper.

The light is 100w spider farmer LED panel that comes with their small tent kit
Plan is to pick the 4 strongest from what you see when I flip the light cycle and they differentiate hope I'll have 2 female which should be more than enuf for the small tent

I'd be putting the light on 100% if it's only 100w and you will need a bigger light for flower that light will only get ya through seedling and early veg other guys here have more experience with LED lights but ya going to be struggling to provide enough light for all of em I'd say

+1. Turn the lights up to 100%. It's only a hundred watt light. SEND IT.

Unless you plan on upgrading to a bigger tent I don't think you'll be able to do 4 plants in a 2×2 unless you keep them in very small pots.. fingers crossed you get a fem

I’ve flowered 4 plants in a 60x60 tent under one little spider farmer 100w led ,
It can be done no worries ,,you just get a smaller yield that’s all

Got 5 flowering and a month old seedling in my 40x40 with a 150w at <50%, you can grow stuff smaller with a small pot. Probably want at least a 6"net pot if you wanna go small scale rockwool as a newbie imho.

Oh as for the stretching, don't stress, once they're tall they're not gunna shorten, no point in worrying, can change it when ya upsize pot, the toothpicks work well though, I find once they get a day or two upright they get balanced quick.

For the light level my thoughts are get a 2nd spider farmer 100W and bolt them together to get dimmable 200W which is the cheapest option, prefer not to spend $300+ on a completely new light at this stage

I just put 4 of the healthiest into leca pebble pots with about 40mm of stem showing for flood and drain. , the system is made up of bunnings tubs and 3D printed bits

Plan is to get them to 4~6 weeks old from sprout then flip depending on size, whats the chances of getting 4 males? one fem and I'm happy

Did all this years ago under 400W MH and HPS and seed was random from bush pot and got some pretty good results
