Sour diesel fleeing problems

Some may remember the beautiful purple sour diesel I grew earlier. Anyway after eons of flowering it seemed to go downhill. The buds never seemed to grow and weeks and weeks went by and still not much amber to speak of. The leaves died off and to be honest it just seemed to be dying no matter what I did.

I had clones already taken and three of them went on into veg then started flowering.

Anyway these clones now a long time flowering ( outdoors) and are going the same way.

I’m assuming it was a dodgy mother as my Luther sour diesels look quite different in veg than this one and it’s clones did.

Here’s what they look like. Under a loupe I can see some amber but not much. The buds are airy and small.

So… bad mother with some genetic mess or am I doing something wrong ? Never had plants like this before.

I might just give up and pull them. They di smell nice though.

That real pretty plant ya grew a while back looked fine to me!!
How did it smoke??

Ah bugger.

It did the same. Was nice up to a point then got sick looking and I pulled.

Smoke was average at best.


I have five nice plants growing now so don’t really want a few more reveged freaks.

What if I put inside at 12/12? Or will this just make a hermie or something ?

Maybe I’ll try one and see what happens.

Seems almost pointless but maybe a fun experiment.

Whatever you do keep us posted. We just love the plant. Always nice to know what it’s capable of.

Might hermie. It just sounds like a shit strain. Not all plants are good and this is an example of that. Looked killer but was shit smoke!!
I'd just fuck em off then mate!!

Thanks. I pulled the sickest looking one.
I put the second shit one in the grow box at 12/12 for fun/experiment
I’ll leave the Bette of the three. It seems to be doing something. But probably just pull them all.

I think it was a bad mother. Sad as it looked so good for a while. The other sour diesels look completely different and very healthy so just chose a mad mother I guess.

So people who have brown SD, is the internet correct it’s best leaving flowering for 90days?

I did order a phone attachment for looking at trichs. I usually use a jewellers loupe but my eyes aren’t as good as they used to be. Have trouble seeing the difference between clear and milky and seem to see amber everywhere when I know it’s not possible haha shit.

I did an early sample of a bud that accidentally got snapped while I was tying it up. The weight of the buds especially after watering makes the stems bend down to the Froend like a weeping willow tree.

Doesn’t taste like diesel ( yet). It’s actually a light floral flavour. Very nice.
