Slow the growth

This seems opposite to the norm of maximising growth rate, but I have got some seedlings I need to slow down until I have some more room to put them. Maybe a couple of weeks or more.
Any quick and easy ideas I could try? I can reduce temps a little, and also dim the light.

Leave the light as is but just do nothing.
I had some clones sitting under cfl for weeks just left alone in coco. Still alive but not much growth.

Thanks AS. I'm in soil and re-potted from cells to small pots last week, so can't do much to reduce the available nutrient other than reducing available water. Would it be worth dropping the temp from around 27°C to 21°C, I am tempted but it will be dependent on the ambient day/night temps.

Ta Sedge. Lights are 18/6, cause that seem right to me, but I will change to 16/8.

I've heard of purples and burples, I guess they are before my time, lol.

I have turned the heater down to 21°C and reduced the light hours from 18/6 to 16/8 without changing the intensity. If they get too big I will give them a good trim back to an acceptable size.
