With spidermites, it is necessary to spray under the leaves as that is where the eggs and mites live. I use a sprayer with an adjustable nozzle that sprays can spray upwards, downward and forward.

Yeah got all up under the plants and in the medium too just for good measure.
I took most of the leaves off after spraying them. Going to do it atleast another 2 times just to make sure they're completely gone. Saw lots of eggs under the big fans
