Hello again, generous people.

I meant to be back before now with some contribution, but here I am instead, asking for advice.

Like others, I have sourced some "regular" seeds. I want to create a stock of seeds for myself.

Around my garden, I have four or five locations, each with one to three plants. Plants are grouped by strain. There is a male plant in a couple of those locations; the different areas are about 10 metres distant from any other area.

It gets windy here sometimes.

I have to go away for about a week. I am leaving about midday tomorrow. The plants are blooming; outdoor conditions prevail. One male in particular looks about to burst.

Any advice is most gratefully welcomed.

You’ll get seed. Probably ready end of March, April will be better.
One male means you’ll know your result (e.g. females 1,2,3 etc x dad 1 or dads 1,2,3). If more males pop over the week you’ll know the possible dads. Pollen travels heaps, 100s of meters, if not more.
You’ll have some seed for ron and some iffy smoke or flowers for edibles.

If they are all krakens then you should be able to leave the male close to the fem which you find desirable and nature will do the rest

If there's different strains all around the backyard, well you'll end up more than likely getting a few mutts from cross pollination between strains.
