Hi Guy's

Transplanted Saturday any ideas as to why the leaves are starting to curl? GG4, Black Dom, Super Skunk in same tent with same nutrients, no issues

A little worries as the Blue dreams in the same situation, yellow leaves and grew really shitty, so pulled it out :(

PH is sitting around 5.8 to 6.... Tent temp never over 29c, never after LED upgrade most times sits around 26c. New peat expanded in boiling water, then flushed tap water until running clear.

Is it the bud additive that is fucking some of them up?

GreenPlanet BUD Booster

Like I said GG4, Black Dom, super skunk exact same environment. Fucking confused Boys
dead plant in bag is Blue Dreams.

As LTG mentioned they could just be little bit over watered.

Are you using Coco peat?
What's your input EC and pH compared to the runoff?

If the runoff EC is higher and the pH is lower it can mean the plant is drinking more water than nutes, which builds up and acidifies in the Coco.

If the runoff EC is lower and the pH is higher, thats a good sign that the plant is eating (pH rises when plants uptake nitrogen). If the EC is very low you can bump the nutes up which will help with rising pH issues.

But looks a little overwatered. Just check your runoff EC and make sure it isn't sky-high. Flush the pots out if so (use a bit of calmag if need be) then wait a bit for them to dry back until feeding again 👍🏻

Guy's I checked the watering, when I transferred them to the big tent the pots and roots were dry, when I pulled the 1 GG4 plant from the big tent the other day, it was moist not saturated.

Yep Coco peat and perlite.

With feeding it goes from my nutrient tank over the plants and is dumped into the base not recirculate. I have not test dump tank PH or anything.

Also reading around can it be LED's are way to close?

will flush now.

Yeah it could be, but if your other plants aren't showing those symptoms then it's probably not lightburn.

Runoff EC should point you in the right direction. If it's way higher than your input EC then that's part of the problem I'd say

I don't have an EC meter, any suggestion on one?
I use a Bluelab truncheon A bit pricey but accurate and a good reputation.

Also check your nutrient tank for sludge/slime buildup.
And does your nutrient tank have water movement to stop nutes settling ?
I have air pump bubbling in the water tank 24/7, no slime in tank but did notice in the hoses that go to my water rings, the clear ones have green stuff in them, the black ones are fine. piping mixed black and some clear the clear ones are going green. maybe make them all black hose so no light gets in?

Nutes tank is super clean (y)

I'd be looking at to much N and the light to intense, I believe you can't overwater coco but you can underwater it, if underwatered you get salt build up because it dries, it's then got to rehydrate the salts before it can get flushed out, and usually if it's underwatwred you will never achieve this, it will just keep building up, that's why i run hempy with coco so I keep it Well hydrated, they get 1.5 litres each a night then when there in full flower they get 1L morning and 1L night, I knock 5ml off what the bottle recommend for 10L and dont bother with EC, but that's my theory and method that works for me others will disagree and have a totally different one,

I'm here too learn mate, good advice (y) I like to listen. It could be salt build up from under watering. 20l every 3 days over 5 plants..

I can also see a magnesium deficiency but maybe its due to the lockout you are experiencing.
What nutes do you use and at what ratios?
Do the leaves have a leathery feel instead of soft and delicate ?

I've always worked on the general rule of thumb that leaves curling upwards has an environmental cause, heat stress or humidity issues etc, and downward curling leaves mean a problem with your rootzone.

Looks like they are curling downwards ,,people often call it the claw,,usually caused by too much N ,,
And no point feeding bud food till it’s actually in bud.

As mentioned above
They need a good flush.
Flushed Brother yesterday  (y) perking up today...
