How far off is this GG4? it was turned in the 28th of December? 2-3 weeks? the other picture are the Black Dom look fucking great considering it's younger then the GG4

When the bracts start to swell and retract their stigma. Vast majority will be browned, but the fresh stigma will loop back into the bracts.

The plant will make an effort to avoid pollination by retracting the pistil back into the bract when it thinks it's life cycle is coming to an end naturally.

You can also look for a milky haze to the trichs. I don't use a scope, but look at the overall bud structure. Swollen bracts, looping stigma and milky trichs.

Anytime. Some strains will Brown off all the stigma before they start to swell...this is a good pic which shows swollen bracts and fresh stigma which are retracting back into the bracts to limit chances of pollination..

Most strains will Brown off like this one below when done, but longer flowering strains have a habit of popping fresh stigma all the way to chop, but will usually start to suck them back into the bracts.
