4TB. May take a while to upload though.I want to time laps my blue dreams plant and post it up to show how shit my cheap LED'S are. So how big can video files be here?
I understand I'm not a dickhead thanks mateTime lapse videos miss the mark somewhat if they aren't at a fixed axis point for each photo. Then at the end of grow you compile the photo's together with your preferred video editor, add sound (if you want), and save as a video format, mp4 being a common one. If you wanted to reduce the file size from there, you could convert it to a GIF format, but you'll lose any sound associated with the video file, once its saved as a GIF.
So to sum it all up. Don't bother unless its going to be done properly, following the entire grow from start to finish. I know i come across as a cunt stating such, but anything less is a wasted effort, imo.
Pretty sure I have seen someone put a time lapse on here before but I could be wrong .....It shouldn't be that big hd video then speed it up. like in 2 min vid
Small amounts of light have definitely affected plants I've grown in the past to not flower and wasted an entire grow. I guess it depends on how much light thoughoh fuck when the lights go off, it will go into night vision... hhmm it has LED's they are small will it effect the plant e.g stretching?
well fuck that thenSmall amounts of light have definitely affected plants I've grown in the past to not flower and wasted an entire grow. I guess it depends on how much light though
There is 150 LED on that board, of witch the 8 white chips in the middle would be the samsung The rest would be chinese rubbish.but by having those 8 they can say the light uses Samsung LED. They work well for veg but the penetration would be very low in flower. You will need the HPS still. For comparison the 600w R Spec from HLG runs 1150 of the bigger higher binned Lm301's, all they would be doing would be making a pink glow in the room. And with all the red the HPS is already pumping out probably make your plants stretch more. Reds the most penetrating light so usually the more red light you get the plants think they are in the shade and try and stretch above whatever is shading them. Blue dreams being saliva dominant will prob want to stretch as it is.I want to time laps my blue dreams plant and post it up to show how shit my cheap LED'S are. So how big can video files be here?
time lapses arn't that big of a video anyway
Wasn't insinuating that. Just intended to give some tips to make it's worthwhile for yourself and others. Back in the nineties 'n noughties, everyone loved seeing a time lapse video of a grow. But in the process, we learnt what mistakes to try and avoid. Fortunately over time they've improved quite a bit. Because folks have the camera's fixed nowadays, instead of trying to stand in the same spot each day and take a photo, and dumb shit like that.. So yeah, that was more so the nature of my original post..I understand I'm not a dickhead thanks mate![]()
