Hey guys I'm looking to have a go at scrogging. I'm planning on putting 6 girls under a gavita pro 6/750e light https://gavita.com/retail/products/gavita-pro-line-e-series/gavita-pro-6-750e-de-flex/ using 20 litre pots containing a coir/perlite blend.
The frame will be about 1800 by 800 so that I have room to get around it. Im planning on having the frame situated about 300mm above the height of the pots.
The light will be about 1200 above the frame.
Is there anybody with experience that can offer some thoughts about the setup?
Any help would be appreciated

Youll want plants with similar growth pattern and stretch ,
using different strains can cause either empty areas ,or parts of the net overgrown ,,

I run the same light are you saying you only have
1200 between the light and the pots? they are a beast of a light and take plenty of cooling down as the ballast is connected just something to think about it does have a dimmer though so ya should be right👍

Nah they’ll be closer than that I reckon but I’ve had them as close as 500mm to the light and they’ve been fine. Just making sure a fan is ripping through between the flowers and the light. But they won’t be getting that close with this setup

I’m just harvesting now and I don’t think my shade went closer than 900-1m it penetrates wicked I’ve seen bigger grows with them hanging 6ft above the canopy multiple lights though👍

Yeah cool. It’s running on 600 at the moment, would you suggest flicking it up to 750? It’s just a bit hot around here lately

Nah I’d keep it at 600 to beat the heat I was pretty lucky this last run being in Tassie I could run it full bore till the last 3-4 days I actually turned mine down to 500 the last couple of days as they are already finished so it didn’t really matter👍 There is a noticeable difference in brightness though from the 600 to the 825 setting
